December 8, 20177 yr Shes been too focused on Strictly to plug any hours in the studio to finish the album tbf.
December 8, 20177 yr But I remain hopeful we will hear something post-Strictly, hopefully she has a single lined up pretty soon to ride off Strictly. She is obviously still mentioning the music at the moment, so I hope I'm not just wishful thinking.
December 9, 20177 yr Oh what has she mentioned? Guessing she’s just said about releasing Hair Down recently lol
December 9, 20177 yr I think at most she'll have another single in Q1. I think she's gained enough visibility on Strictly to promote a new song right after the show, but with Hair Down underperforming there is no assurance that an album would be anything else than a waste of money for the label.
December 10, 20177 yr Is that Mollie singing in the Boux Avenue advert? Can she not just bang that out on iTunes to tide us over?
December 11, 20177 yr Totto! Also just read this - as if people are placing bets on them declaring their together/possible 2018 engagement?! Source: https://www.dailystar.co.uk/strictly/666323...ng-it-takes-two
December 20, 20177 yr Can we discuss Mollie’s Instagram post for her underwear collection. Why has happened in photoshop? Her head is too big for her body. I’m not really sure what her phone holding hand is doing. I’m so confused by it all.
January 17, 20187 yr Mollie is now a co-host of a weekend show on Radio 1: https://www.instagram.com/p/BeCm-uRnMTK/?ut...gn=embed_legacy
January 17, 20187 yr Turns out it's just for a month, but it's still good exposure and more importantly, a great connection with Radio 1.
January 18, 20187 yr So she changed her location on Twitter from "Island Records" to "Fascination Management", so it's not unreasonable to assume she's been dropped. I wouldn't expect any music anytime soon. The whole Radio 1 affair sounds like a rebranding kinda move (as a radio, possibly TV, figure), rather than her trying to create a better relationship with Radio 1 for her future releases. Still think she seems very motivated by the whole pop music idea, and we know she's been writing and recording a lot of music throughout the last months rather than just sitting on her bum, so I think she might try and look for someone that may give her another go at it, but yeah otherwise I wouldn't expect anything more at this point.
January 18, 20187 yr Author I can see Mollie doing songwriting. That's probably the best way to earn money for her since Rochelle and Frankie have already jumped on the TV / Radio route. I mean, if her lyrics are anywhere near as bad as Hair Down then god help us.
January 18, 20187 yr Island didn't seem to know what to do with Mollie. Neither Back to You or Hair Down really got properly pushed. She really needed to be everywhere with both and really wasn't. It is a shame as I'd love to have heard an album from her.
January 19, 20187 yr I still get the impression that 'Back To You' could have been a decent sized top 20 hit had Island bothered to promote the single and put payola on Spotify. I'm actually disappointed that Mollie's no longer with Island Records but at the same time she said last month the album was almost finished and it was almost a full Xenomania album? I don't know what's going to happen with Mollie but I'm hoping that we will eventually get the album!
January 19, 20187 yr Island really are tragic for signing household names like Leona and Mollie (she’s one of the most known of the band) and failing  I can see her doing a Nicola Roberts and working on her own music lowkey but primarily working for other artists.
