I remember when I hosted my first final (and I was like 14 lol) and I pretended I was ill half way because everyone was picking out how all of the points were wrong, so I wanted another night to do it :(

Oricon is in no position to judge or make digs to Jake whatsoever, his hosting wasn't as flawless as he thought it was, didn't Bre do the majority of the work? The hypocrisy is quite amusing and that from a BJSC moderator? Who insulted me as narrow minded and said he despised me for not liking the majority of foreign language songs? WUT EVEN IS THIS? :drama:

it pretty much suggested that i missed his pm and he'll edit it himself and put it down to my illness.

 

it's disgusting quite frankly, particularly as he had already sent me a fully and what one would assumed to be a correctly tagged mp3.

 

he knows nothing about my health so to use it so wantonly in a conversation over an mp3 tag is disgraceful.

I can promise you 100% that is not what I'm doing or how it was meant to come across, I didn't even make the correlation between me faking illness and you actually being ill. Believe it or not, that was actually me sympathising with the heckler situation. As I was earlier also, don't assume that I'm against you (even though I can see completely how this may have seemed) as I'm really not at all, if anything, I'm trying to be nice amongst the sea of complaints :(.

And I have to defend Yu here a bit as well, I did kinda implicitly volunteer to do the hard work last contest by asking if I could host the semis. It's not like he forced me to. Though I do wish he'd let me out of his dungeon now.

Look I'm sorry if you were offended by what he said but as someone who knows Yu a lot better than you I'm really inclined to believe the "I know you're ill so I can edit if you like" comment was him trying to do you a favour seeing as you have admitted yourself that you're stressed and your illness isn't helping. Do you seriously think he was pointing and laughing at you for being ill? I really feel you need to stop interpreting everything everyone says in the most negative way possible and frankly the character assassinations from yourself and Kath make for extremely unpleasant reading. You really need to relax.

I have read the thread. In my view he only got defensive once you started calling him snide and nasty. Personally I've never seen anyone except yourself and Kath have problems with him so I find it difficult to believe he has some sort of vendetta against you two. His worst crime is maybe not expressing himself too well but that's hardly worth the rather extreme insults you two are throwing his way. And my telling you to stop interpreting things negatively wasn't just related to Yu, you also did the same thing with Rob when he is, again, *never* the sort of person who randomly digs at people like that.

 

This thread and BJSC has taken an extremely unpleasant turn and I really do not think it's necessary. If you've taken offence to Yu then whatever but to drag it out into a separate thread when he has given no further replies and to have Kath acting as some sort of venomous cheerleader on the sidelines is really dragging the whole contest down for the sake of it. I was enjoying the contest until this evening and I don't blame Yu for ruining it.

i took great offense at what he said to me, he isn't the only person to go after my health. do you want to explain to me why me not altering his song title had something to do with me having a post-operative infection? i have never interacted with rob before and so don't know what he means by his remarks and again i am not the only one who thought they came across in a certain way.

 

he has made no effort to clear the air so that only stands to make me feel he did mean it in the way in which i and others took it.

 

this competition has been ruined by people taking it far too seriously. perhaps i have overreacted but when you have multiple people coming after you and berating you with remarks about your health being thrown in. if oricon has a problem with the tagging situation (along with everyone else) could they not have taken it to pm or expressed themselves slightly better. i've been spending hours trying to get this right and the response i've gotten back has made me angry but particularly upset.
