Did anyone else see the rumours (probably just rumours) about a possible Cheryl and Mel collaboration?! :o

Maybe it could be released as this year's X Factor 'charity single'.

Yes please, release it the week after "I don't care" so she can get her 5th and 6th number ones in a row :kink:

According to Metro, Tinie Tempah is joining Cheryl in Nice for Judge's house, after will.i.am pulled out at the last minute.

I take Tinie over will anyday, but I'm sad the Sia rumours were untrue. :(

I hate how Cheryl is getting so much attention out of the two though, as much as I love Cheryl as a judge (not as an artist), Mel is clearly the superior judge for me

Cheryl was always going to get more attention considering :

- the new series' promotion was all about her and Simon's comeback,

- Cheryl is a more popular celebrity in the UK.

The chemistry works great and that's what matters. :)

Not sure if Mel B is impressed by this comparison. :kink:

I need a gif of Cheryl's shade on that awful Raign girl. :smoke:

That gif.

I knew Cheryl would pick Kimberley for Mel seeing as they're both from Yorkshire. I also thought Mel would pick Victoria for Cheryl, even if it wasn't for the reason she stated. :P

Couldn't STAND that Raign girl. Really hope she's not in the live shows, loved how Cheryl dealt with her.

'The X Factor': Raign Apologises To Cheryl Fernandez-Versini Over 'Bad Attitude' Comments After 'Don't Let Me Go' Performance

‘X Factor’ hopeful Raign has publicly apologised to Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, after the judge criticised her for her “bad attitude” during Sunday night’s show.

All of the judges apart from Chezza voted to put Raign through to the next stage of the competition after she performed her original track ‘Don’t Let Me Go’ for them, with the Geordie judge slamming her for her “attitude” and claiming her “desperation” was “ugly”.

Despite her comments Raign has nothing but good things to say about Cheryl, telling The Mirror: “I don't know how that happened. I think Cheryl is amazing. She's such a diamond in the UK.

“I'm definitely apologetic and I hope I can win her round. If you're doing something like the ‘X Factor’ you have to have determination and drive.”

Raign was shown entering the audition room over the weekend with a confident attitude, though she was quickly brought down a peg or two by Cheryl and Simon Cowell, who didn’t think her performance of Zedd’s ‘Clarity’ was worth putting her through.

However, she eventually managed to win him round when she sang her own original track for him, and has since admitted that her “passion and nerves” may have been perceived as desperation during her audition.

She also claimed that becoming a star is important to her as she wants to make her grandmother proud, adding: “That's one of the reasons I decided to do it this year. Next year might have been too late.”

Raign will be returning to the ‘X Factor’ for the arena auditions later in the series.

From 26th September there will be an extra show on a Friday as well. I'm assuming it's just gonna be a one-off thing as Strictly only have a Friday show on their first week of live shows.

It was as if Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of The West had come to meet the wizard at the X Factor live arena auditions, as Chloe Jasmine and Raign took turns to face Simon Cowell.

23-year-old model Jasmine, who hails from Sussex and whose plummy accent betrays her privileged origins, had the judges mesmerised with her rendition of the Peggy Lee song Why Don't You Do Right?

A vision in a place retro dress, she charmed the judges with her warm and gracious demeanour.

"It's lovely to see you all again... I'm really happy to be here," she said

She won the audience's approval with her bluesy style, with one audience member comparing her to Marilyn Monroe. Cheryl Cole too couldn't hide her fascination for the hopeful singer.

"There's something really, really fascinating and mesmerising about you. You're elegant, graceful. You're like old school Hollywood glamour. I love you," said Cole.

"I love you, too," replied Chloe.

Her experience was in stark contrast with that of Rachel 'Raign' Rabbin.

Taking to the stage in a long black dress with sheer panels and her long hair hanging limply, she irked the judges with her diva like behaviour before she had even sung a note.

When Raign asked for a microphone stand, an unimpressed Cheryl Cole commented: "Anything else? Vodka? Gin and tonic?"'

After performing a song she'd written herself titled Don't Let Me Go, she won praise for her vocal ability and her song writing skills. But Cole couldn't hide her annoyance.

Cowell was quick to pick up on his fellow judge's dislike of the wannabe singer. "For whatever reason, people don't like you before you sing... You do drone on a bit. Describing her dress as 'hideous', he added: "Everything about you was a bad choice."

While Mel B and Louis Walsh conceded that she could indeed sing and voted for her to go through to the next round, Cole was quick to say no.

Casting the final vote Cowell asked: "How do I turn you into Goldilocks instead of the Wicked Witch?"

After Raign resorted again to begging to stay in the competition, Cowell too caved in and gave her the yes she was desperate for.

It was then that Cole made her feelings about the singer clear. "I can't stand her... I couldn't work with her. There's no way. I'm allergic to her," she said to Cowell.

Speaking to the Mail Online after the show, Raign said she was surprised by the reaction of the former Girls Aloud star.

"'I am surprised at Cheryl for not showing a bit more compassion. Clearly, I had an attack of nerves due to not fully understanding the reality show arena, I have never done anything like this before. The X Factor is such a huge platform way beyond anything I ever imagined.

"Considering Cheryl found success from Pop stars the Rivals, I would have thought out all the judges she would know how nerve racking it is to be on a talent show stage and how this can affect your performance," said a disappointed Raign.

"Based on this, I think Cheryl as my mentor wouldn't be a good fit."

I'm sure I read about Simon saying there was going to be a Friday show for the bootcamp stage and the judges houses stage!
