The first New York-only episode for the second half of the season. There are a few plot/character spoilers already out:

A few months after the end of the glee club, New Directions alumni are adjusting to their new lives in the Big Apple: Blaine and Sam have moved in with Kurt, while Artie experiences difficulties navigating the mean streets of Manhattan. Also, Rachel gets accustomed to being a Broadway star, and Mercedes (guest star Amber Riley) moves to New York to work on her album in the all-new "New New York" episode of GLEE airing Tuesday, April 1 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (GLE-514) (TV-14 D, L)

The songlist has been announced also:

"Best Day of My Life"

"Don't Sleep in the Subway"

"Downtown"

"People"

"Rockstar"

"You Make Me Feel So Young"

All I can say is thank god Sam is getting rid of that ridiculous hair! Hopefully more of the pre-season 3 characters are going to pop up over the rest of the season too.

Haha yes! I think his best hairstyle was in his post-stripper days.

Didn't realise there would be such a time jump but I guess it makes sense. Most looking forward to "Downtown", classic. :P

I'm glad there is a time jump! That means this'll be set around September 2013(?) and then the season could eventually finish in present time!

Is "Downtown" the Petula Clark song (covered by Emma Bunton :P)? Also, I really hope "Rockstar" isn't the Nickelback song, but Elliott is singing on it so I can only guess that it is :(

Yes at Petula! I've heard that "Rockstar" is an album track from A Great Big World, seems quite random, would be the second A Great Big World track they've done and neither would be "Say Something".

Just watched the episode and I'm LOVING the new full-time New York set-up!

For once they got Kurt and Blaine spot on as their interactions felt much more real than what we've seen in the past.

One thing I also really liked was the Rachel/Artie friendship this episode, and Don't Sleep In The Subway was a brilliant duet.
