BILLBOARD: 'Frozen' May Chill for 8th Week at No. 1, Shakira Aiming for No. 2

Billboard (March 26 2014):

"The "Frozen" soundtrack should continue to loom large at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart next week -- securing its eighth week atop the list. Industry sources suggest the album will easily outpace the likely No. 2 album, Shakira's new self-titled set, which was released on Tuesday, March 25. "Shakira" might sell around 70,000 to 75,000 copies by the end of the tracking week on Sunday, March 30.

Assuming "Shakira" debuts at No. 2, it will mark the entertainer's highest-charting album yet, surpassing the No. 3 peak of 2001's "Laundry Service." In total, Shakira has tallied four top 10 albums: "Laundry Service," "Fijacion Oral: Vol. 1" (No. 4 in 2005), "Oral Fixation Vol. 2" (No. 5 in 2005) and "Sale El Sol" (No. 7 in 2010).

After Shakira, the next-highest new entry next week will likely be Johnny Cash's "Out Among the Stars," with around 35,000 or so. The album consists of 12 recently rediscovered recordings that were recorded between 1981 and 1984.

Other albums heading for high debuts next week including Memphis May Fire's "Unconditional" (30,000 or so) and Kari Jobe's "Majestic" (20,000 to 25,000)."

I knew Frozen wouldn't drop off very quickly. 160k would only be a 20% drop which is very respectable for the week after the DVD release imo.

Shakira is impressing but to be honest I'm not overly surprised - 'Can't Remember To Forget You' has kinda bombed but she's been really everywhere, and will probably continue that.

Glee still managing top 10 albums in the US?

Incidentally it seems like they didn't even bother releasing a 'Season 4 Volume 2'
