At the end of the day What About Us sold 400k and they did HUGE promo, but the album still only shifted 19k in an entire year.

"OMG it's 2023! we are celebrating LFTW going Silver this year by releasing a new edition with a bonus Gentleman Remix!"

not sure if this has been answered already but will the "Tour Edition" be eligible to count towards the charts?

I'm guessing it will be; it's simply a marketing ploy to push for better debut sales for the album.

Speaking of the tour edition, I hope they ship them for release date delivery.

I remember I got Rihanna's last album with tour tickets and that arrived the weekend before release, hopefully this will too!

Okay I have decided to get the Box Set as well, lemme pray it is still available once I return from my holiday

(I just received unexpected student loan so I've got enough money for it again :cheer:)

that's great news as Amazon are the main seller of physical copies. glad they've finally added an image to the page.

I think HMV and stores are on par with Amazon. LFTW got to #23 on amazon but it debuted at #10. Foxes is at #620 on Amazon but it's still top 100 in the official chart, Paloma Faith is at #52 but she iis top 20 in the official chart etc.

However I may be completely wrong with that haha :P

EDIT - Nevermind, The Independant said that Amazon sell 22% whilst HMV sell 17.5%. But I guess with other stores like Tesco and ASDA included, it will be the same :P

22% is impressive but not critical. I wonder what percentage iTunes have of the digital market? Must be around 60% or more?

Interesting. Is that not just for the US though?

The latest information I've got for the UK is 69% contributing to the chart are physicals and 31% are digital downloads but that was in early 2013. I'm guessing it's somewhere around that now here aswell, maybe the physical is like 60% and digital is like 40%.

it's at #485 now. progress

So apparently "808" is not good and "Walking Through The Desert" is actually good and should have lead the album instead.

(Also Rochelle apparently sing something along the lines of 'Heart like an 808', make whatever you want with this brand new piece of information  )

From popjustice?

Yes, he also said that 808' sounded Rochelle heavy and a bit generic and the chorus Walking Through The Desert sounded was mainly Vanessa.

808' didn't sound good on the first listen, maybe it's a grower?

Hmmm based on one persons opinion? I will probably love 808 lol I always seem to like the tracks people aren't as fussed on
