I'm not too keen on the image used for The Saturdays' Greatest Hits. Yet again they have a cover where it looks super obvious that the girls were photographed individually and then they've been photo-shopped together. I wonder why they never do proper group shots for their covers? It'd look so much more natural.

 

Maybe they're too busy to have group shots anymore, since three are now mothers? Looking after kids takes up a lot of time, it might just be easier to shoot them individually while the others do whatever else they need to do.

I dread the tour, can you imagine the wailing of all the children in the creche or something :lol:

Glad you think so! :D I never did like TSOGA cover... and not to mention that what is meant to be the Irish flag, actually isn't! :lol: They have the green and orange the wrong way around.

Maybe, but I'm pretty sure that every artwork cover they've had from 'Up' to now is individually taken photos of each girl, and then they're put together in the editing process. 'If This Is Love' looks like the only one where they're actually standing with each other and having a photo taken as a 5 piece. It doesn't really matter tbh and in a lot of their covers it looks fine, but in some they look a bit unnatural. I think this GH is certainly one of their weirdest / messiest looking covers ever. :lol: I don't like the "paint style" look for the Greatest Hits name itself, because it doesn't really look like it's paint anyway, so it just looks like a garish font.

 

Sorry, I'll stop moaning now. :kink: I'm very eager to get my hands on the CD/DVD version!!

I agree with you on the paint title, not overly brilliant but I love the cover :P

 

Is a shame it wasn't like a two disc edition with fan votes to make up 10-15 of their greatest songs from the rest of their stuff!

They still do group photoshoots, they just took the best shot for each girls and photoshop them. They probably all want to look the best. Why would, let's say Vanessa, accept a picture when she thinks she looks ugly on it?

 

Greatest Hits bore me to no end. Call me when the 3 new tracks leak.

The tracklist is mostly ordered in terms of success/how well they are remembered. There is no way anyone would do a tour by performing all their big hits at the start and leave all the 'flops' at the end.

Not necessary no :thinking: It wouldn't surprise if they put Issues and My Heart Takes Over together instead of doing them between two uptempos for example.

 

Also 'What About Us' is probably going to close the show.

True that. I think something like Up or Disco Love or Gentleman for the opener, unless they pick one of the new tracks as the opener incase it's the single

I don't think they're likely to do every single on the tour anyway. Maybe a medley to get through certain singles more quickly, but I could definitely see a couple not being performed at all.

The last tour had around 21 songs peformed, so it wouldn't make sense not to perform all the singles when they have just about 17.

Disappointing that yet again there is only 1 Scottish date and it's only in Glasgow! I don't think they've ever ventured past Glasgow on Tour, 1 Aberdeen date would of been great.

What a waste of three new tracks! The other two songs had better be stellar and they had better not try releasing the cover.
