i would love love love if elëdan can win this month with all of this growing hype. even more than i want my song to win. the whole rupaul experience is v important to me, and it's nice to see people buying into it and being genuinely surprised! i know i was considering rupaul's 'the beginning' and no-one would listen to it because they thought i was joking.

 

i also think it's very odd that grebo has sent a trap song. it's amazing though. love that whole witch-housey urban feel that we get from the likes of HUCCI / CRIM3S / SALEM

I am fully backing an Eledan win! Would be among the best winners of at least the past few years.

I think Sissy That Walk is a dead cert top 10.

At the risk of awakening Pavel's sleeping beast, i'm really hoping STW doesn't do as well as i'm fearing it will.

 

I tried to listen to it knowing hardly anything about Rupaul/the show and it's just a pretty beige (albeit fun) pop song, that perhaps, maybe, probably wouldn't be getting the attention it is getting had it not been for the associated artist. There's nothing wrong in supporting it for the artist or any other reason obviously, but in a sea of so many quite spectacular songs that this final has produced, i can't even fathom the thought of it winning.

Well in the context of a SONG contest, i can only judge on the song itself so i do have quite a good knowledge of what i'm on about given i've listened to it and the others. And hardly a lecture. You mentioned in the other thread we weren't discussing the music enough, so thought i'd air my thoughts on one of the songs.

 

And good lord, when Bignia does good they do SO good. Can they always send these beautiful numbers please and not resort to the trashy stuff we sometimes get. This could and should appeal across the board so expecting Big things.
