Austin will be releasing his début album on 27 May this year!

Hopefully including 'What About Love', 'Banga! Banga!' and 'Mmm Yeah' (and obviously as mentioned in the 'Mmm Yeah' thread he'll be going on tour in NA to support the album).

SO incredibly excited for this, it's been a long time coming and it's going to be perfect

(And obviously we've heard about the Justin collab as well, so could that be on the album? :w00t:)

Very excited. Hoping he brings the retro-What About Love sounds for the rest of the album over the other singles and confident he will. Either way, definitely one of the most exciting young popstars going.

Ahhh swooon.

Apparently 'U' (may) also feature on the album as well!

I'd say it's definitely an album. He did tweet saying 'get my EP' or something, but before that, e.g: "ITS TRUE!!!! MY DEBUT RELEASE #TheSecret COMES OUT on MAY 27th!!!", 'début' wouldn't really be the word to use if it were another EP.

And Wikipedia doesn't seem to have shifted it to the Extended Plays section just yet.

"debut release" doesn't specify an album or an EP :P Besides, Wikipedia isn't exactly the best source to use for information... ;)

If this is an EP though... :drama:

He's already released an EP though... So unless he forgets his discography as he goes along, then it would be his second EP. :kink:
Using your favourite source Wikipedia (:kink:), that EP was released only in Japan, so I'd say it doesn't count as his debut EP. Wasn't on general release like this will be.

Still, he's been in the public eye for some time now and to only produce an EP at this stage would be a bit laughable.

He's announced a show in the UK, playing the indigO2 at the O2 on Monday 23rd June with tickets on sale a week on Saturday.

Ugh, that's the week AFTER I'm in London. DAMN YOU AUSTIN.

(not that I really would be up for spending HOURS in the presence of horny teenage girls, BUT seeing him in the FLESH would totally be worth the pain *.*)

American artists seem to think that London is the only place in the UK... get your arses up to Glasgow.
To be fair, if you're only playing ONE UK gig, it does make total sense to go to the place where 20% (ish) of the population lives.
