If it's top 200 on Pre-orders before release and they have a strong promotion schedule like they did for Disco love I would be delighted!

Hopefully they manage to do a couple of medleys! They do really need to get promoting the single / album while Frankie is away though! The album will need to be top 200 in the next 10 days to go top 3 IMO.

And remind us how well the last two albums did they promoted with Frankie away. :P

Radio interviews though.

Frankie is the reason why their album campaigns do well. Rochelle could never.

Do you mean 'Chasing Lights'? Oh it went well. :kink:

Headlines with a Frankie heavy lead single, is their highest peak and opening album. We need another Missing You.

Talk about bad timing.

I think it's better now than during the release week...

If anything it's the single/album and tour that have been wrong timed. :/ Frankie's been talking about this Summer wedding (thus, the honeymoon too as it usually follows pretty quickly) even before the actual Not Giving Up campaign. The management knew and they still decided to go that way...

If frankie is away now that leaves two weeks and a bit to promote though right? They could be aiming for a high Peak and promote really close to release week though. Hopefully streaming allows the single to fall gracefully or keep climbing if it charts low.

Hopefully this week iTunes will re-instate the pre-orders batch, that will undoubtedly help the album recover.

I'm pretty sure that at this point with NGU they'd started to at least mention "TV promo coming soon" and rehersals for performances etc. It's just so bad! I can't get over it! I thought NGU promo was bad because it was a fifth single. This is a new single and new album and they're even more invisible than ever!!

With NGU we had a mailer the week before release which had the promo in it which spanned Thursday - Wednesday (with the release being in the middle on the Sunday) Thursday being just a brief daytime interview, and Ant and Dec Saturday Night Takeaway was listed, and would have been their best promo, but without any kind of explanation, they just didn't appear.

They could still pull this back with some decent promo, I wouldn't say it was as bad as NGU, YET. IF they started doing stuff from the start of next week up until and during the week of release, that would be pretty substantial, if they were doing 2 or 3 things a week (more on release week), with a couple of bigger things in the mix. 3 weeks of appearances is plenty enough to get some buzz going.

3 weeks would be great. However there is no sign of anything! And with Frankie off on honeymoon things aren't looking great. I'd say it'll be the usual Lorraine, Sunday Brunch, This Morning rubbish promo on release week. It's just so sad because it's not just the single it's the GH album too!

All of those do provide very small boosts, I'm all for it as long as they have a COUPLE of bigger appearances. I have faith that they'll have at least one. Most of their bigger singles have managed a prime time performance.
