I've talked about it once and got dragged down about it like always, but I'll say it again...To me, 'What Are You Waiting For' does not even sound just a little bit like a song that I wanna hear on radios. Yes,

it is extremely good

and

I do

love it, but it's also incredibly bold, noisy, agressive, huge and really loud. (It's like literally a "banger"). It's the kinda song you wanna hear in a club, not in your car, or at work, or whatever, listening to radio.

 

The 0.59 could help, but I don't feel like they need to use that now... :unsure: ? It would be smart to make it happen when they do actually promote the song (because I'm kinda hoping they promote it a bit before the release, during the release and after it...but that might be too much to ask because they also have tour rehearsals that should basically start...well one week before the album is released lol :lol: ).

I do really like the song. It's in their top half of singles for me but I still agree they needed another Ego, Higher, Up, Disco Love. I mostly just think it's much better than a lot of what the radio IS playing, and just want them

to have a least one more hit, because they deserve one. And it's a great feeling when a Saturdays song gets big and everyone knows it.

R1 playing Disco Love again this morning. They're mocking us. They've played the song twice as much as they did when it was actually on the playlist now. Crazy!

It still gives me hope for WAYWF to be playlisted :P

I don't think so, we thought this during NGU, but were wrong. Either way, it helps for Greatest Hits if they are playing one of the tracks.

they need to do one big bit of promo soon, to start the interest. the way Will.I.Am did with his song on Britain's Got Talent (and Cheryl Cole too) about 6 weeks before it was actually released. It is harder as Alan Carr, Graham Norton etc aren't currently on air, but they could still do SOMETHING other than holiday

I really want this to re-enter the top 1,500 before Rizzle Kicks' new song does. Even though it's been played a lot by R1, it's still only got 30k youtube views in 2 days, and isn't doing anything on iTunes.

 

I just realised, that from their release week, Kiesza is the only artist that's actually in the top 1,500. So The Saturdays wouldn't have had much competition going top 5(3) if they'd been playlisted. :angry:

I think R1 only support Rizzle Kicks cos they were a Fearne Cotton "discovery". So they like the fact that they take credit for their success. But I dont think they are a particularly relevant group anymore.
