#601 (POP)

I guess we should be happy it's finally made some progress. This time last week it wasn't even top 1500 in Pop and today it went to like #1200 in the real chart. Nothing great (or even "good") at all, but it's a step forward and it should continue to climb further as time goes on. If Not Giving Up can go to #14 on iTunes with worse pre-orders then I'm sure this could do alot better. They just need alot of promo during release week.

Album and EP are out. :(

For anyone interested here are the representative graphs if iTunes position for the EP, single in pop and Album.

The really need to get promoting the album!

Don't rush them, they really need their vacations right now.

Out Same Weeks as Sats

342. Kiesza - Giant In My Heart

890. Rizzle Kicks - Tell Her

959. Chris Malinchak - Stranger (feat. Mikky Ekko)

Rizzle Kicks have got some excellent promo - they performed two songs on BBC1 tonight at Edinburgh Castle which has resulted into them having 8 songs top 1,500. It would have been perfect had Saturdays got a slot and performed Higher / What About Us & What Are You Waiting For.

It's a shame that they're also not on Alan Carr's show next week either.

Pop iTunes

588. What About Us *.*

686. What Are You Waiting For

944. Disco Love

1215. Higher

It could be worse Pixie Lott is releasing her single next week and 'Lay Me Down' for the first time has entered the top 1,500

:'( frustrated at the airplay situation. I can't believe they haven't managed to bag Alan Carr promo for the 2nd single campaign now. I'm hoping it's because his new singing show included guest performers and they are performing on that - it starts on the 1st of August I think.

Also!

836. The Saturdays - Finest Selection

916. The Saturdays - What Are You Waiting For EP

Single looks to fall out of pop again today.

873 The Saturdays Finest Selection: The Greatest Hits (Deluxe)

1162 The Saturdays What Are You Waiting For? - EP

I'm fast giving up with The Sats.

This could have been a decent album campaign, loads of people like The Sats tracks but wouldn't buy a standard studio album...

The fact they get all the hits on one album is definitely going to interest casual fans.

The fact the album was holding so well, showed it was more popular than previous albums.

It's too frustrating they haven't done any promo, no TV adverts, no TV shows, there's just nothing in terms of promotion.

It wouldn't take much to do a couple more radio's, a couple of minor TV slots performing old hits, then hitting release week with the new single!

I appreciate it's hard to get Promo but it seems they just can't be bothered to even try!

I get they will be rehearsing for the Tour in August but that just means it's even more vital to get some promo in now!

At this stage I'd be happy with a couple of YouTube ads, TV adverts during TOWIE or small radio adverts advertising the tour and album!

They fool me everytime, but I really thought more effort was going to go into Greatest Hits. Now officially three weeks to release of single and it's doing terribly.

1112 The Saturdays What Are You Waiting For? - EP

Album our of top 1,500.

Single out of pop.

:(

I could personally care less about how the single pre-order does. Of course it's great if they manage to make the Top 200 again prior to release, but it really doesn't mean anything. Disco Love didn't do very well on pre-orders and had a very strong opening week. Your Love had very strong pre-orders and squeaked in at number six.

Disco Love didn't do amazingly in pre orders but it did OK. It was at least comfortably in the top 1,500 by now and was being at least minimal airplay from the major radio stations.

It's just going to be annoying to watch another week go by where nothing is happening from The Saturdays at all.

Frankie is off on honeymoon. The other 4 should split up and do radio interviews. But they will use the fact Frankie is away as an excuse to take a week off

God and I thought the NGU campaign was bad
