As it was never played n had no hype from an unknown girl band and girl bands aren't particularly known for doing well! Look at the Spice Girls, the biggest Girl Band ever and they weren't even that big! Shania Twain has sold more, kaaaching!

Also Curiosity DID get released!

OMG at your floppy chart knowledge!

It was her third single after This Kiss! (which also flopped). It was just a lash in the pan top thirty hit, thanks to Capital's (albeit limited) support.

Shock horror that one of the most successful artists of all time has outsold the Spice Girls.

As am I Ultraviolence, such a great track! I just hope they don't make classic girl band mistake and release any album after the wrong single because I think they could be huge

But it is being played, it's on quite a few TV channels quite regularly and has been doing well globally

I can't handle you shading the spice girls, I've already had the misfortune of some Twitter troll calling Cheryl the queen of the X-Factor panel. :drama:

That (though correct after Spice hype faded) troll!

AHh didn't realise it had tv play!

But then again so did TIGOY by Flopley Rae.

To be fair, I thought Ugly Heart would flop when I first heard it, and I already loved them at this point thanks to Vacation and Show Me What You Got.
You can't really compare this to 'Tonight I'm Getting Over You' as that was a post-album single while this is a pre-album single. I think that did very well to go top 40 after 'This Kiss' struggled to make any impact!

Did that get any radio support? I can't seem to remember

I don't think 'This Kiss' did, but I think 'Tonight I'm Getting Over You' was on the Capital playlist for a few weeks.

Did anywhere even bother to play This Kiss?

I distinctly remember Capital's hyperbole, This is even BETTER than Call Me Maybe!

Which they say, as on a script, for EVERY small song following a big single.

Ah that was for Tonight, not This Kiss.

I'm not sure This Kiss got even ONE play.

Love this. Simone really is very good isn't she?

She should have won XF US

She was in X Factor USA?

I hope she was against the crying bratty little kid.

Briefly  Simon chose her as one of four, including Rachel the crying bratty little kid :P he sent home the eventual winner Melanie Amaro who was the favourite all the way through so there was uproar only for Simon to reveal he was actually allowed 5 so she came back. In week 1 of the lives everyone else had 4 acts but Simon had 5, they all had to decide to eliminate one but Simon had to eliminate 2, he went for Simone and another girl who I don't remember, Tia or something like that.

You'd have thought Nicole was mentoring Rachel given the way it all turned out.

Anyway, this is getting a bit off-topic so APOLOGIES

X Factor is so ridiculpous, changing rules when it wants a certain contestant through or if there's uproar!

Surprised they didn't do the same with Gamu!

I love them all, I think they're all quite good to be fair

Nooooo because then G.R.L would never have been formed :o

She's the one I looked up after hearing the song for the first time. I know Lauren Bennett from Party Rock Anthem fame, but that's it.

I just had to Google this! :o

She looks a lot younger in this band than in PRA!

Also she was the only one I knew.

So it's a bit manufactured then?
