here in the indie forum we don't often do standalone threads for singles but i think lana has to the pull and interest from all buzzjack quarters to justify it.

she's one of those rare entities in that she appeals to most who post here.

so excitement for monday no? here is a live clip of the verse acapella ;;

It's now on her Vevo:

Not sure what to think... Should be a grower I think.

sounds a lot more natural than her previous material. Love the drums.

like it.

Perfect <3

This is classic Lana Del Rey and even better.

First listen and I'm in love.

Not really hitting the spot. Disappointing.

I hope we get another Ride though *.*

It sounds like some unfinished demo from her early days. Very disappointed.

That's what I was thinking actually... A few listens and it's not really growing. It's not terrible or anything but it's about a 6 or 7 out of 10, kinda feels like it should be a hidden album track at the most, not a lead single :/

it's boring as f*** and really self-indulgent :/

I agree with the second part and that's a good thing.

A bit of a grower. I like it at first, but I'll like it a lot more later I think. I'm liking the production, especially for the drums.
It's definitely a grower and I think the video will help, so i'll just wait for that.
I actually really like it. Not a lead single but only because it's not commercial. Very sensual and a nice change up. It feels a bit... incongruous but the structure has grown on me by listen #3, so I'm happy.

It's been driving me insane all day but it's finally dawned on me what that guitar riff into the chorus sounds like:

I'm loving this so far...it's pretty much what I was expecting from Lana at this point. Yes, it's a bit lacking in the melody department but I think the overall package works pretty well.

Really good! It's a positive thing she seems to be changing her style because another album like 'Born to Die' and 'Paradise' would have been too much of a good thing for me, as much as I enjoy those two.
Absolutely love it. So many tempo shifts but it hangs together so smoothly. Echoes of The Velvet Underground, and a touch of Stevie Nicks on the "move baby, move baby"
