That was good to read Alex, it's nice to see some more reasoning. That collection was a good investment but, as you say, an interesting choice of movies. I wonder why they left The Hunchback of Notre Dame off in favour of movies like The Lion King II and The Black Cauldron. Although I do admit that The Black Cauldron is underrated.
The Black Cauldron is really, really poor. I saw it in the cinema and didn't really get into it (and this is when a visit to the cinema for a Disney film was a real treat) and have tried to watch it since but never made it to the end. Something about a magic pig? I like the bit where Gurgi munches and crunches, but that's about it.
I watched the most Disney cartoons some years ago, when "Best Disney collection" was released in Russia [every cartoon had beautiful 48 page-book and DVD], not in the time when I was a kid. Maybe it's a main reason why "Lion King", "Bambi", "Jungle Book" are nothing for me.

Me and my sister bought it and all cartoons were watched and separated between us. The selection was very interesting. [with "Lion King" sequel and "Black Cauldron", but without "Fantasia", "The Hunchback of Notre-Dame", "The Princess and Frog"]

Maybe it's a little rude, when we talk about cartoons, but both my favourites ["Frozen" and "Tangled"] are intresting for more wide auditory, than those animal cartoons for kids.

From Disney I prefer the romantic princess stories ["Tangled", "Beauty And The Beast", "Sleeping Beauty"] even if sometimes they are very naive like "Cinderella" / "Little Mermaid" or inspired by Middle-ages "The Sword In The Stone" / "Black Cauldron" / "Robin Hood" (with peoples characters this story can be better).

Based on characters my favs are "Frozen", "Tangled", "Hercules" and maybe "The Black Cauldron".

Don't like "Pocahontas", because it's a princess' story without the happy-end.

Well, that makes a lot more sense now, I still don't know why you felt the need to delete your rate altogether when you could've said this? :(

That certainly was an interesting read Alex. As I said in my PM it was never our intention to make you feel like deleting your rate.

Had you posted small parts of this in your rate all would've bene more than fine, as I do understand your reasoning behind rating now. Thanks for that post!

I have to disagree with you on this one tho, as I think the people of buzzjack grew up with those animal cartoons, instead of the likes of Frozen and Tangled and are more likely to have seen those, opposed to Tangled and Frozen. I am however still going to see Frozen, just need to find a place and time for it.

The results will continue tomorrow night, thanks for all the comments so far!

I also echo previous sentiment about Robin Hood, it's a fun classic-styled Disney with great guest voices. Frozen, ever so sorry to most of the world who love it to bits, but I found it a bit twee, and the songs more annoying than emotional. I think I was bitterly disappointed cos I was expecting a whimsical snowman vs moose film from the trailer, not a princesses movie. More Ice Age than Sleeping Beauty..

Just because there are talking animals, it doesn't mean its for exclusively for kids. If you want proof of that then watch Plague Dogs or Animal Farm.

Smashing its way into the top 15 is a movie I never thought would’ve been this popular amongst the Buzzjack crowds, Alice In Wonderland. Her impact is real as she’s been referred to in several other Disney Movies, makes regular appearances in Disney land and features in several video games. The movie is based on Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland with a few elements from Through The Looking-Glass.

The movie is about a girl, Alice, who ends up falling into a rabbit hole after following a white rabbit who keeps screaming “he is late”. Alice ends up in a strange world, where reality doesn’t exist and animals and objects have the ability to speak.

Alice is accused of pulling a prank in The Queen of Hearts and is put on trial. She eats a Caterpillar’s mushroom and grows to enormous size and stands up for herself, insulting the Queen while at it. Alice has to flee and is told by the Wonderland inhabitants that she needs to wake up as she’s dreaming.

Next up is Peter Pan at #14. The movie was based on the play Peter Pan, Or The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up by J.M. Barrie. The movie spawned a sequel in 2002, Return To Never Land and a series of prequels focusing on Tinker Bell in 2008.

The story is about a girl Wendy, who has been told to finally grow up. She and her siblings get a visit from Peter Pan himself that night, who brings them to Never Land. On this island they get into several adventures that involve the rest of Peter’s crew, a jealous Tinker Bell and Captain Hook.

Next up, at the unlucky number of 13, is Disney’s translation of a fairy tale, Sleeping Beauty. It was based on the books La Belle Au Bois Dormant and Little Briar Rose.

The movie is based around Princess Aurora, who is blessed with gifs by Flora, Fauna and Merryweather aka the 3 good fairies. Flora gives her beauty, Faune gives her the ability to sing and before Merryweather is able to give her gift, an angry fairy called Maleficent appears. She curses the princess, so she will prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die on her 16th birthday. Merryweather however weakens the curse and makes sure she stays alive, but she will fall asleep. She is taken to the forest where she grows up.

While in the forest she meets Prince Phillip (Whgo would've thought she was meant to be 15 at that time) . They fall in love immediately. Aurora is escorted back to her parents’ castle. In that castle she is lured away by the evil fairy and pricks a spinning wheel.

The curse can only be broken by her true love, Prince Phillip, who has been kidnapped by the evil fairy. The good fairies start a search for him, find him and free him so he can go up he tower to kiss Aurora awake.

Next up at #12 is, wooden doll turned boy, Pinocchio. It was based on the novel with the same name by Carlo Collodi. The plot of the film involves an oldwood-carver named Geppetto who carves a wooden puppet named Pinocchio. The puppet is brought to life by a blue fairy, who informs him that he can become a real boy if he proves himself to be "brave, truthful, and unselfish". Pinocchio's efforts to become a real boy involve encounters with a host of unsavory characters.

Just missing out of the top 10 are Mowgli, Balloo, Bagheera and King Louie from The Jungle Book. The plot follows Mowgli, a feral child raised in the Indian jungle by wolves, as his friends Bagheera the panther and Baloo the bear try to convince him into leaving the jungle before the evil tiger Shere Khan arrives.

This is the last movie revealed tonight, I will reveal the complete tomorrow night!

Hercules TWENTY FOURTH?

There are no words.

I have ONLY just noticed this. On a warpath. (to go from zero to hero in no time flat)

Mulan at #21 is awful too (even though I've never watched it it looks awesome and I've only ever heard amazing things).
