The top 41 by averages is so much more fair given the number of non-rates for many of the films by lots of posters. I'm going to claim THAT as the real results.

Me two, even if it means Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland are even lower

In my opinion the totals represent the popularity of the movies with all of the voters, while the averages only by the few that have seen them.

That is the main reason I chose for the totals in this countdown, as I wanted it to represent all of the votes

I believe there is a way that can be done where you average out and then divide by the number of votes you get or something (I can't remember what you have to do so I never bother with it!)

Yeah taking the average of who did vote for that movie is the only truly fair metric, people who haven't seen a movie will lower the average score of it and present and inaccurate result.

Sorry for bitching though, you did an excellent job hosting and running this Tim so don't let my pedantry put a dampener on it.

Oh don't worry about that, that's why I put both results in my post to show both sides

I really enjoyed doing this, it allowed me to relive some of my favourite Disney movies and childhood memories

I'm a bit bemused by the love for 101 Dalmations - it's not that great a story really. I do like Jasper and Horace though. Same with the Aristocats - although the bits with the butler and Napoleon and Lafayette are comic gold. Because of the general age of buzzjackers, the resultant top 3 was almost inevitable. At least they're well-made films...but only The Lion King is really worth putting on...and I really don't like Beauty and the Beast at all.

Here's how the films are rated via IMDB btw - some of the more recent films quite high up.

Poor underappreciated Home On The Range :(

Beauty and The Beast will forever top The Lion King for me, I love both but I always found the latter a tad overrated, It would probably be in my Top 10 but not in my Top 2.
