April 21, 201411 yr Whoa, first decent OUAT episode in ages and it gets series low ratings? and wow at Bob's Burgers. Have they already ordered next season's episodes? Might be its last.
April 21, 201411 yr Author Yeah they have, but I think it will only have 90 odd at the end of S5 anyway so no doubt the abysmal ratings its getting now are worth it in the long run.
April 21, 201411 yr I can totally see it moving to Comedy Central or something, especially now that Futurama has ended.
April 21, 201411 yr Author Friday Final 1.2 Last Man Standing 0.8 Hannibal Game of Thrones matched it's series high 6.6 million again this week, with Silicon Valley jumping back up to 2.1 million and Veep up to 1.3 million. Salem also got off to a great start with 2.1 million viewers (886k of those being 18-49).

April 24, 201411 yr I really don't understand why they'd give Glee another full season, it's ratings are abysmal.
April 24, 201411 yr I really don't understand why they'd give Glee another full season, it's ratings are abysmal. They can't be. They have to be giving it 13 episodes to wrap it up. Nobody is going to pay for CW ratings on Fox. Although the entire network has fallen off a cliff so maybe they're in luck. It's got to be Friday bound though with Mindy. They can't waste Sun-Thurs real estate on either.
April 24, 201411 yr Author They released a statement about Glee a few weeks back and said it would be getting TWENTY FOUR episodes next season! (This season only has 20, so technically 2 are carry overs).
April 24, 201411 yr That's retarded. At this rate of decline they'll be binned for summer burn of half way through.
April 24, 201411 yr Author It probably won't go much below where it is now, I can see the final season averaging a 0.7 or so, but I also don't see the benefits of SO MANY episodes really. They've known about this season for over a year, so they could easily have planned it into 13 episodes and extended it to 15 with the 2 carried over from S5.
April 24, 201411 yr It was the showrunner who said that, though. Fox can still cut down on episodes, can't they?
April 24, 201411 yr I guess they get good money for episodes in other ways. And as some stars might be contracted to a certain amount of episodes they would have to pay them out of the contract if the number of episodes isn't fulfilled.

They've known about this season for over a year, so they could easily have planned it into 13 episodes and extended it to 15 with the 2 carried over from S5. Given the ratings collapse and Cory's passing they could have ditched the show midway through 5 instead of lumbering on without a core character.
