REALLY REALLY hope that news is true! Feel it might be a bit early for a new Cheryl single though? Although I guess 2 months or so before the release will be left, so July for that, then the next single maybe in October time for an X Factor perfomance, followed by the album?
I think it'd be a good time to release, get a good buzz going early then like you said a second single + album in time for an x-factor performance
She should just re-record 'Control Of The Knife' and be done with it. With a Push Ten video to boot YES.

Apparently she's going to perform it on the BGT final as the premiere and it'll be out straight after that (probably not reliable but who knows?)!

 

Cheryl Cole is planning on making her pop comeback on the live final of Britain's Got Talent.

 

Geordie lovely Chezza - who will make her return to the X Factor judging panel this year - is said to be planning a show-stopping performance to relaunch her singing career after a year away from music, reports the Daily Star.

 

The former Girls Aloud singer will perform her brand new super secret single on the show and then it will be made available for download straight away.

 

The name of Cheryl's new single is a closely guarded secret and the paper also reports that the Britain's Got Talent final will be the first time the single will be heard.

 

Cheryl's last single Under the Sun was released in 2012 and only managed to reach number 13 in the charts.

 

It was also reported that the Call My Name singer is also being lined up to perform on the X Factor live shows later in the year.

If I got it all right, the single is supposed to premiere on May 10th and to go on sale on June 8th (straight after its first performance on BGT).

I hope this turns out to be true, although May 10th is a Saturday so it doesn't quite make sense for a radio premiere...

 

I'm not too keen on the title "Crazy Stupid Love" compared to the previous 3 comeback singles. But anyway it has to be confirmed as well.

 

 

If its a 8th June release, there'll almost certainly be a BGT performance!
Can't wait, hope we do hear it in a few weeks!

I'm assuming it will be released 00:00 on the Sunday as opposed to after the BGT final performance? Would be silly to miss out on a days worth of sales. She'd be iTunes #1 prior to the performance, a la FFTL and PT.

I hope all those rumours weren't fake and we DO get a first single before the summer. -_-

I don't want to wait until September and the X Factor to see her come back with a song. Plus I don't want an other case of 2 singles and campaign done. So the earlier she comes back the more chances we have to get at least 3 or 4 singles.

 

She is covering the August issue of Elle UK (probably on sales half/late July) by the way.

She is confirmed to perform at the Capital Summer Ball on June 21st so this pretty much confirms we'll have a single in June ! :cheer:

The finale of BGT is confirmed for the 7th of june, so that pretty much fits the early rumors with the song out straight after.

So basically the song could be out anytime now. I wonder if the 10th may premiere will be confirmed? If not, it should definitely be next week or the one after.

Ok, I'm dying now. We HAVE TO get the song this week. Or at least official news. Or I won't be happy.
