I'm not too worried for this week's position, I really don't see how MAGIC! could possibly make it. But I wish she would plan some promo for the next weeks. I fear she will totally let this song drop and be back in the media when single 2 is launched. :(

The good news is that with the song having so little airplay etc right now, and with Radio 1 giving it A-list airplay from next week, there's plenty of room for the song to grow in popularity. It's different to 'Call My Name' which was everywhere at this stage.

Plus I think her team sadly knows that these kind of shows bring next to nothing in terms of sales, so they won't bring her on it. I mean, her perfume launch made more headlines in the press than a performance on This Morning would ever get.

Wow at those initial increases, although it took quite a sharp dark red tumble in the last update. I guess that's mainly because of the increase of Troye Sivan - Happy Little Pill though (wut + why, I had no idea his YouTube popularity would stretch to a music career~)

Ouch, she just lost 3% in one update :( Back down to 90.30%. Hopefully none of her other updates today are as strongly negative as that.

Oops, I spoke too soon :lol: I really hope that update's a one off.

Looks like Cheryl is safe: she sold 9.2k on Thursday in comparison to 'Rude' selling 10.4k. With a ~17.5k gap (according to my estimation), Magic! need to outsell her by an average of 8.75k per day.

 

Assuming they sell a similar amount today to what they sold yesterday and gain a boost from the higher sales and streaming on the weekend, I imagine they'll sell something like 23k over the next two days. That means Cheryl will need to sell less than 5.5k in the same time frame for them to overtake.

 

Possible? I doubt it.

Cheryl will definitely be #1 this Sunday.
