Apologies if this has been posted before but this is the US Mojo Box Office "Bums On Seats" all-time Top 100 movies, with ticket prices adjusted to reflect current average ticket prices. So despite all of the htperbole everytime some new (3D) movie breaks box office records...they usually haven't, it's just cash generated with inflation that has been boomed.

Interesting, if predictable list.

I'd say 'The Exorcist' being so high is a shock given it's subject matter and shock factor especially in the US at the time, but then i guess that's precisely why it got so many bums on seats in the first place  (and the fact it's the pinnacle of horror cinema of course).

'The Exorcist' is the only horror film I won't ever watch again. It's horrifying (I know, it's the point) but it's so terrifying that I really can't watch it anymore. I'm a big horror fan too, and can just about do everything else, but just a NO to that one.

'Finding Nemo' higher than I thought it'd be *.*

Harry Potter being the most visited out of all seems a bit odd?

(Lion King outside the top 10 tho  )

Snap! I saw it at a College screening when I was 21 and it disturbed my sleep badly afterwards. Exorcist, that it. Haven't watched it since :o
