Britney Spears has been sued for allegedly breaking a dancer's nose. Dancer Dawn Noel has claimed that the singer injured her face during a rehearsal session last year, according to NBC News. The performer is said to have been hurt on August 19, 2013, during a rehearsal at a studio in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles for Spears's 'Work Bitch' music video. Noel claims that Spears arrived two-and-a-half hours late for rehearsals "in a dishevelled and confused state". She stated that choreography involving Spears "was fairly basic", and the popstar was "having difficulty learning the moves, performing dance steps and following simple directions". The lawsuit continued: "After approximately half an hour of rehearsing, as (Noel) stood off to (Spears's) side, Britney twirled in an unbalanced and reckless manner, arms extended out to her sides, and forcefully backhanded (Noel) in the face." Noel and the other dancers then heard "a cracking sound which they immediately knew to be the sound of (Noel's) nose breaking". Spears is then alleged to have said "sorry" before continuing her routine. After Noel attempted to rehearse for 30 minutes, she left to see a doctor, and was diagnosed with nasal bone fractures. The complaint states that Spears and Reign Deer Entertainment agreed to pay for medical bills, but that she was informed this would not happen months later. Noel added that her injuries have resulted in "permanent disability" and she has lost out on work.
