Posted May 12, 201411 yr David Tennant and Olivia Colman will both return to Broadchurch for series two, it has been announced. Jodie Whittaker (Beth Latimer), Andrew Buchan (Mark Latimer) and Arthur Darvill (Rev. Paul Coates) are also confirmed for the next run. Source: DS It's back in the early stages of production, but no word on a transmission date yet. The rest of the cast will be confirmed at a later date.
May 12, 201411 yr Eek! So glad that most of the main cast seem to be returning! The first series was one of my favourite programmes of last year, I really hope they do the second right.
May 12, 201411 yr I suppose this cancels out any chance of Chris Chibnall writing for series 8 of Doctor Who if he'll be putting all his effort into this (which isn't exactly a bad thing considering how horrendous 'Dinosaurs on a Spaceship' was). I didn't watch the first series, but I may try and catch up in time for the next!

May 21, 201411 yr Author She's been cast in a 'central' role, so it's safe to assume she's probably one of the leads that will appear in every episode, opposed to some of them that just appear sporadically. My guess would be she's related to Hardy in someway, either by marriage or by his past.

She was great in Torchwood, but Frankie was a bit of a let-down (mainly due to the script/show in general). I'm sure she'll be ace in this though.

June 6, 201411 yr yay broadchurch! next week i'm planning to watch the entire series 1 again to refresh my memory (new channel launching, and it's going to be 1 of the first programmes)

November 19, 201410 yr i'm honestly not sure they can pull this off. series 1 was good, good storyline with the murder case- and it ended well. i just don't know if they can get another series out of something that's all ready finnished, and if they did, would it be as popular. this is just my opinion, but look at the bletchley circle. series 1 was good, but not so much a second series

January 5, 201510 yr Excellent first episode, I'm hooked already, I love the idea of the back story from the previous case that lead him to Broadchurch in the first seris.

Obviously it must be the latter and there's probably still at least one guilty person still walking free anyway. Danny's dad clearly seeking out to kill Ellie's son, very dark...
