That´s one of the lowest peaks of Robbie´s career.... I´m not sure what his company is doing... Releasing a new album less then one year after the previous, not to mention, his smallest selling album in the UK to date... He releases 1 album every year ever since "Sing When Ypu´re Winning"... He should take at last 2 years off to come back strong. It wouldn´t surprise me if his new album is his first album in ages no to make the #1 spot. But still, even when he is low, he´s still bigger then almost anyone else (Intensive Care sold 5 million in Europe:)).

Delighted Beyonce´s album is selling less then the months old Snow Patrol... Going to flop!

Its just amazing The Feeling and Snow Patrol still selling well, especially SP, its a new peak for them

 

Too much of a gap between No5 and 6, SP have got no chance of getting higher.

Great chart this week!

 

Justin getting pushed off the top, Scissor Sisters getting their first number one (even if it isn't their best song), Nelly going top 3, Robbie underperforming, Snow Patrol climbing and Jamelia doing quite well on downloads only. Also great news for Kasbian and Audioslave in the album chart.

 

A bit disappointed that awful song by The Feeling is climbing though. I think it's a bit cuh-cuh-cuh-c**p myself.

Robbie single likely to miss top three

Robbie Williams’ new single Rudebox (Chrysalis) looks set to make an underwhelming full chart debut, according to early retail reports.

 

The single, which was released physically this week after reaching number 30 in the chart on downloads, looks likely to miss the top three of the singles chart.

 

By contrast, Scissor Sisters’ new single I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’ (Polydor) – currently at number four on download sales only – looks odds on to take the number one slot, outselling nearest competitor, Justin Timberlake’s Sexyback (Jive), by almost two to one.

 

Nelly Furtado’s Promiscuous – currently at 15 on downloads only - also looks likely to reach the top three.

 

Elsewhere, new singles from Lemar and Muse (the White Rabbit-issued It’s Not That Easy and the Helium 3 / Warner Bros-issued Starlight respectively) look likely to debut in or around the top ten and Jamelia looks set to enter the top 25 with her new single Something About You (Parlophone), released this week on download.

 

 

Less meat on the report then normal today. I wouldn't but much faith in the Robbie statements, he is climbing on iTunes and will pick up on physicals which is his strong point. You have to remember the first midweeks includes Sunday and Monday, and on Sundays a far great % of downloads are sold because the physical is not available, combine that with the coming Saturday where a lot more physicals are sold, chances are that Robbie is going to climb.
