Ugh I hate xenomania this track has no life in it at all so dull and try hard. Massive let down but was expecting it with xenomania being more and more miss than hit as time goes on.

I love it!! (and yes, speaking of which it does sound very Icona Pop).

 

Not the most original thing in the world, but I'd put it in the top half of their singles discography. A nice summer party track, hopefully they can get one last top 10 out of it!

Preorders are good but lets not get ahead of ourselves, still many areas it could fall down on i.e. music video, playlisting, airplay, etc.

August 10th seems to be really quiet for music releases so far anyway :D

Capital have it empty on their future releases page but have other dates past it pretty full.

I really like the song. It's very infectious and has the typical Xenomania structure that sets it apart from other pop songs a bit. If it can get playlisted on Capital and R1 I see no reason why it wouldn't be one of their bigger hits.

 

Are they going to premier this on R1 at all today? Sometimes Scott plays the songs that have premiered on capital in the afternoon.

 

Are we 100% sure the album is out on be same week? It hasn't had an official release yet has it? 11 was just an early date they gave?

The 'What are you waiting for?' bits are too repetitive like I worried after hearing those clips. I love the bits after though :wub: Still think they should have gone with a big pop track rather than the fading dance-pop genre.

I absolutely adore this song. I would have liked another "What Are You Waiting For?" breakdown at the end instead of the "Because the party never ends.." section but overall it sounds so summery, so radio friendly and so bonkers. #1 please.

according to DS, the other 2 songs on the GH album are "808" and "Walking Through The Desert" did The Sats say this on the interview?

This sounds like a Calvin Harris-wanabe and the "What are you waiting for" bits are far too repetitive.

The main chorus is enjoyable as it is, feel good, summery vibe. :)

 

I was hoping for something like "Up" though. :( I don't like the way they've been completely EDM for the last few years.

 

Oh and my concern is how autotuned their voices are on this, it's a shame because it erases all the individualities of the group and makes it look like it's one only person singing the whole song. :lol:

What an absolute banger! Just what the girls needed for a Summer single and its probably their best chance to get a second #1 given how commercial it is!

 

Are their any solos? It sounds like they're all singing but take it in turns to take the lead on the song. I could hear Vanessa, Una and Rochelle all taking the lead at parts. I think I heard a solo line from Mollie as well somewhere.

I've listened to it 4 times & I love it more with each listen :wub: Although the What are You Waiting for is slightly annoying and too loud over the track. Can't see this working as a live performance though! Hopefully I'm wrong :) Would like this to go at least top 5/3.

The video is going to be incredible! I would really love them to get the audience involved when performing live. Imagine them all chanting 'What Are You Waiting For' with the audience and jumping around at the chorus :D
