Is this it?! OH PARTY PARTY PARTY PARTY LOSE CONTROL I WANNA LOSE CONTROL PARTY PARTY PARTY BLAH BLAH PARTY PARTY

It's not even beige - just terrible. Too repetitive and no catchiness to it in the slightest. I'm starting to appreciate Tiësto's new record more now having heard this :manson:

In the flip they said they went to Radio 1 on the launch day of What Are You Waiting For? so what happened there? If they went then surely radio 1 haven't disassociated themselves with The Sats?

Tell that to various acts who have been to Radio 1 such as Britney, Pixie Lott, Diana Vickers to name but a few since Radio 1 ditched them and they paid a visit to the station.

'What Are You Waiting For?' was played on radio 1 on Sunday the other day on the Dan and Phil Show and Mollie introduced the song :)

Giant In My Heart by Kiesza is going to be their biggest competition I think. Pre-order was released today and is #1219 after a day which isn't amazing, but it's bound to get playlisted everywhere after the success of her last single, and WAYWF could not get playlisted at all. But that doesn't mean Kiesza will 100% smash - Look what happened with Clean Bandit's followup.

I actually reckon The Saturdays could get to #5 - #8 with this song with as little airplay as they did with NGU, as it's a popular lead-single that fans will back it up, and I assume it'll get some decent promo. If it gets airplay (even very modest airplay like Disco Love) I think it will definitely manage to debut in the top 3.

- It's hard to be excited for this single when it's easy to worry that its airplay future could be as grim as Not Giving Up.

The person who directed the 'What Are You Waiting For' video also directed 'What About Us'.

Why can't y'all just chill and stop owrrying about a possible radio snub like worrying this much isn't going to change the situation that may or may not occur.

Just enjoy the song and the fact that they're still around god

I respect that opinion and can understand why worrying is annoying to a lot of you, but it only comes from admiration for The Saturdays. I really think they could go on for a couple more years from here, at least - the quality and reaction to their new single only proves that. But they really do need the commercial support, and if they don't get it for this single; the tour and album *WILL* flop and The Saturdays will inevitable have no choice but disband, unfortunately.

I was worried for 'Not Giving Up', and was unfortunately right about my worries when it came to release, as it became their biggest flop single-wise. Luckily, it was easy to move on from as there was a lot less riding on that single, with it being the last single from an era we all knew they were moving on from.

But when it comes to 'What Are You Waiting For', I know it's been said numerous times before, but it really is make or break for them. It's a very important single for them. Obviously, I do know that it is too early to get TOO worried, as within a couple of weeks it could be being hammered by Capital and play-listed by Radio 1 with fantastic promo lined up, but if you love the girls and want them to continue to be any kind of a success, then there is cause to be SLIGHTLY concerned, given their often bad management choices and dwindling airplay.

I just REALLY want this to be big for them. They deserve it - I think you'll all agree with that at least.

But how did worrying actually help things.

Everything is out of your control, apart from the sales you provide.

I just want to address the thing you said in bold..

I've been a Saturdays fan from day 1 at the Girls Aloud concert. I have every CD single, I've got all their promos, all the albums, merch etc.

I've been to every tour they've done, numerous times.. I adore the girls. But my worrying won't help them in the slightest.

How is it contributing anything into their success if I don't panic or analyse how well management are doing their jobs.

That's a little bit of a sweeping statement to make. Just because I'm not panicking or being 'realistic' or 'optimistic' doesn't mean I don't love The Saturdays as much as you ;)

It wasn't meant to come across like that in the slightest. I know that all (or most?) people on this forum is a fan and want the best for the girls. - I just meant that the worrying only comes from a good place - as it's just the desire for the girls to do well. And also, I completely agree that worrying does absolutely nothing to help situations, but everybody is different in the way they react to things. It's like worrying about the rain when you're planning a day out - there is nothing you can do about it, but people still can't help but worry. :)

But, like I said, it's too early to start worrying now, anyway.

Okay let me get this straight for a second. I know I've joined the Saturdays bandwagon real late (somewhere between Notorious/All Fired Up, but what do yu expect they are lovcal celebrities) but I love this girls to pieces yes even Frankie and I want them to be as succesfull as they can be.

However it bothers me that people can be concerned about literally everything that involves the Saturdays. I know that they've had some bumps on their way, some bigger than others, but we've worried about those before and look how that turned out. NGU didn't get playlisted despite worrying and flopped on its arse, Gentleman wasn't well received despite our worries and neither were 30 Days and My Heart Takes Over.

My main point is, while I do not discourage you from posting your opinion, I've seen nothing but negative posts regarding airplay, playlisting and other potential bumps on the road to this release. Why can't we just enjoy the music we're getting right now and worry about the road later, when there's actually something to be worried about. Cause quite frankly right now all we are doing is speculating.

(I really didn't want to offend anyone in the process by the way, I just had to say something this time )

Nah Tim, I totally understand why it can be annoying. Whilst at the same time I understand why I and some other posters do worry. It will be a sad day if it all goes tits up for them from here, but at the same time we've had 7/8 years, and you're right, let's enjoy the music. I've listened to WAYWF about 200 times already, as it is. :music:

How is that even possible, how can people listen to a song so many times in such a short time? My most played song is just over 300!

I've played it like 18 times. I have a bit of OCD in that I can only play a song one time per day but with The Saturdays I usually make an exception for their new singles.
Even WAU hasn't been played over 200 times by me :drama:

Snap. I don't even think I've watched/listened to it ten times yet
