I'm rooting for Ella to get this, and I think she will!

I'm also rooting for her; the desperation of Jessie's upcoming album is beyond all human definitions and understandings of diabolically tragic - Team Ella all the way

Love it! :w00t:

'Ain't Been Done' is out there too.

I think out of the two I prefer 'Masterpiece' but I think both are really strong

Lyrics and irritating Jessie J-esque 'hooks' aside, 'Ain't Been Done' is very strong. That chorus melody is undeniably infectious. 'Masterpiece' is pretty good too but I definitely prefer the former.
These songs sound a lot better in full then they did with the snippets released looking forward to hearing the rest of the album in full .

100% agreed. Personal, Masterpiece and Ain't Been Done are all SO much better than what the snippets suggested, I just hope that's the case with the rest of the album (however Keep Us Together and Seal Me With a Kiss both sound divine).

I agree to me it is like another PT! She has to release it next IMO!

And sorry I love Jessie J but this is utterly HILARIOUS!

This album sounds 100 times better than the last mess going by the songs we've heard so far. Ain't Been Done is pretty great.

08.0 Ain't Been Done - Was unsure about this based on snippet but in full it's much better, the chorus is undeniable. The only parts that annoy me are the 'immadoitlikeitain'tbeendone' opening/closing.

09.0 Burnin' Up - Fantastic second single for me, the urban Jessie I have been wanting.

09.0 Sweet Talker - Ever since I heard the live performance I adored it. Only reason it isn't a 10 is because I want the Diplo production behind the chorus to be more punchy, like in the live version. Next single plz.

10.0 Bang Bang - One of my favourite singles of the year.

07.0 Fire - The violins on this are wonderful on this, I love way it builds throughout. I just wish the melody of the chorus was a little more subtle, as I feel like it makes it a big clunky.

07.5 Personal - Another one that sounded so much better in full. The chorus has grown on me massively. Some melodic silmarities to 'It's My Party' but obviously a ballad version and MUCH better.

08.0 Masterpiece - Despite the awful lyrics (which is half acceptable seeing as it's the only song Jessie didn't have a hand in writing) this is undeniable.

10.0 Seal Me With A Kiss - My initial album highlight. It's just so funky and the chorus is so joyous. Can't imagine it being released, but I would love it to be.

08.0 Said Too Much - Chorus here is massive, I love the melody. I feel like the production let's it down slightly though, it makes it sound too dated.

05.0 Loud - Don't get the appeal of this one in the slightest. Doesn't deserve it's place on the album.

08.0 Keep Us Together - Wasn't massively keen at first but it is grown a lot - it has a wonderful carefree vibe about it.

09.0 Get Away - This is why I love Jessie. Vocals here are incredibly stunning, great mix of vocal vulnerability and power. I love this as the standard album closer.

07.0 Your Loss I'm Found - This is rather good but see why it's a deluxe track, an 80's power ballad inspired song isn't what I want from Jessie. Certainly seeing the comparisions to Gaga's 'Dope' too.

07.0 Strip - Pretty much the same as above. Although good fun and catchy, it is obvious this was meant for 'Alive'. Pales in comparisons to similar songs like 'Domino' and 'Sexy Lady' from her.

06.0 You Don't Really Know Me - Unfortunately the closer of the deluxe is very forgettable. Think I will be sticking to the much superior ballad of 'Get Away'.

Very strong 3rd album from Jessie. Definitely think it's her most mature and well-rounded effort to date. The only thing I was looking for was for more of the urban edge seen on 'Burnin Up' and less straight pop with some more interesting producers on board, but for a pop album it's a great effort. Let me forget 'Alive' ever happened.

I don't think it's leaked, it's just been released in Australia! :D

Is there a link to it? I've Pre-ordered it anyhow. :cheer:

I've listened up to Masterpiece so far and think this a return to form from Jessie! I wasn't at all keen on Alive (except Thunder, Breathe and Conquer the World).

This just seems like such a well rounded album so far. Deserving of the #1 next week, although I'm sure Ella has it in the bag (unfairly as her album is a let-down IMO).

I'm going through the album now and I'm pleasantly surprised so far! I've not actually listened to the whole of Alive but being familiar with Who You Are, I much prefer this already and I still have five or so songs to go. "Masterpiece" is not the abomination that I expected and "Said Too Much" is very strong, I'm not sure whether it's single material but I really like it anyway. On the singles, they're pretty much perfectly picked so far, I'm still loving "Bang Bang" and "Burnin' Up" is a great choice for second single. I imagine a third single would be the disco-lite "Seal Me with a Kiss" or possibly "Fire".

As an album name, Said Too Much would have been much better and less 'safe', I think, but that's not particularly important now anyway.

07.5 Ain't Been Done - Quite good, I have a feeling this will be a massive grower. I think it's quite a strong album opener.

11.0 Burnin' Up - EPIC!

10.0 Sweet Talker - One of the standouts on first listen. Very instant and could be a great single in the future.

10.0 Bang Bang

06.5 Fire - slightly forgettable, but a nice album filler

07.5 Personal - a strong album track and could be quite a grower

10.0 Masterpiece - Definitely should be the next single!

06.5 Seal Me With A Kiss - Not too bad, just not my cup of tea. I think it's a good album filler though.

05.0 Said Too Much - One of the more boring songs on the album, there are far better songs of a similar style on ST.

05.5 Loud - There's something about this song which I don't like, but it's not too bad overall.

08.0 Keep Us Together - A sudden jump back up in quality!

08.5 Get Away - A really nice album closer.

Overall this album is SOOOO much stronger than "Alive"!
