The middle one is working it. The others look a bit awkward

The video proves it even more. Normani is killing it, but the others look like 14 years old trying to look like/acting like their big cool and edgy sisters. There's something off.

The lyrics to the song are incredibly basic and cringe-worthy, but the melody is good. It sounds like a reject from The Pussycat Dolls' "World Domination".

Love the video, really works with the song. Hope this can do well for the girls in America, would also be nice for them to have a decent sized hit this side of the pond.
It's holding well on iTunes so far so that's a good sign I would be nice for someone from X Factor USA to actually be a success !

'Michelle Obama, purse so heavy getting Oprah dollars'

I really don't understand this, how does Michelle Obama get Oprah dollars? (Sorry if this is a stupid question)

Also aboslutely LOVE the line 'I want a Kanye-ye not a Ray-J' really made me laugh! :heehee:

This has started to grow on me - I just don't get why half the song is basically them repeating themselves with Michelle Obama? So, so basic.
Bo$$ is being released in the UK Oct. 12th. Album released here soon afterwards, what does everyone think?

Guess they'll perform on X Factor then.

Glad this is being released properly here! I'm not sure I can see them getting an X Factor performance despite the date being perfect for it as I don't think they've ever had guest performers that aren't either X Factor UK contestants or very well-known. I'd like to be wrong though for both these and Alex & Sierra!

It's the perfect platform to launch them in the UK though, Simon obviously has them on his label so by having them perform it will benefit them immensely. I really hope BO$$ does well here because it's really good.

Yeah of course I agree with that but I suppose this situation has never really occurred before so we'll have to see. I suppose if they are introduced as the "biggest U.S. girlband" or something like that then it could work in terms of the general public not knowing them at all.

And across the nation mixers everywhere will be shading them while crying :kink:

This release has been pushed back a week. If I was to come up with a theory I'd say that maybe these were due to perform on the first live show, but Ella has now taken their place so they have been moved back a week and their release date has been moved back a week to match it.

I still doubt they'd get a performance slot in the first place, but I guess it's a possible theory?

I guess we should start talking in this thread again given that the UK single is back to being Bo$$. The Sledgehammer preorder has been taken down and is now the B Side on the newly added Bo$$ single. (Bo$$ was originally up for preorder a few months ago before being taken down... they may as well have kept it up this whole time!). Mess.

I said this in the Sledgehammer thread, but I will say it here. Am I mis-hearing this lyric "I'm a sexeh layday*, the horse goes neigh-neigh"?

*strange way of saying lady

Everyday is pay day

Swipe my card, then I do the nae nae

You're talkin' to a lady

I want a Kanye-ye not a Ray J

So that's a no no

I'm a Maybach and you's a Volvo

This convo beat like Dre-e

I already know whatchu tryna say

You say that you a baller

And I see you tryna holla

But that ain't how I was brought up

Next

Working for the money

'Cause that's what my momma taught me

So yo ass better show me some re-spect

I'm sure some of these lyrics are going to go over a lot of X Factor viewers' heads, lol. Will the average X Factor viewer know who Ray J is? I think not.

i don't know why people are getting so up-in-arms about what they perform, it doesn't really matter as nothing will do particularly well. girlband pop appeals to internet gays only and anything they release here won't get widespread support and will undoubtedly bomb...

I find both of these comments highly amusing

I've heard about a vine (not seen it) that is a mash up of both - does anyone have a link to it? :)
