Slaves- 'Debbie where's your car' isn't the track of the day for 13/08/14. TOTD for 13th June is Marmozets 'Captivate you'. Slaves is the bbc introducing track for the week. I doubt they would make an introducing track TOTD :D

Track of the Day 14/06/14: Linkin Park 'Until It's Gone'

Out Now

this week's track of the day selections have been atrocious. :puke:

Linkin park... Nice choice, I don't think they have playlisted Linkin Park in ages so I doubt that this would get playlisted sadly :(

today's track of the day comes from a 23 year old man from Bristol who could be getting a big chart smash with this song. Certain Buzzjackers will be pleased, it's Jacob Anderson aka Raleigh Ritchie!

Out now.

Darlia - Dear Diary, according to the R1 website!

Ah great i usually find out from twitter but strangely they didnt post it. Good way to end Rock week, Downloaded Candyman by Darlia its a great track, could be big at the end of the year.

today's track of the day comes from Rixton who are a boy band from Manchester signed by Scooter Bruan's School Boy Records (also home to Psy and Carly Rae Jepsen). The song is a big hit in America so I think it'll do very well here too. Not a big fan of it but at least it's inoffensive rather than awful a la 5SOS/1D

Out 13th July

Been championing this since it smashed the US so I'm glad to see it as TOTD, love Benny Blanco/Steve Mac's production
The chorus of that song is a complete and utter rip off of 'Lonely No More' by Rob Thomas - pretty much note for note!

 That was a fantastic song! This... not so much.

I'm pretty sure it's a sample.

New single from Naughty Boy featuring Sam Romans is the track of the day. Sounds boring.

Out 20 July

That Naughty Boy song is so great. I've been obsessed with it for nearly two months now. I hope it becomes huge like La La La did.

I remember first hearing La La La and being hooked straight away, loved it for ages and then BANG it became huge. And I still love it now!

YEY! Forgot it's release was still a month away so I thought they'd already passed on it
I'm pretty sure it's a sample.

It can't be a sample as it's changed from the original. But I have since found out that Rob Thomas is credited as one of the co-writers of 'Me And My Broken Heart' so they obviously negotiated including him as a writer after they realised they'd ripped off his song! That's one way to avoid getting sued

I've been listening to this for a good month or two now. Will have to hold off on further listening until it's release, don't want to get bored of it before the radio stations are all on board. I'd go as far to say it's Naughty Boy's best single behind "La La La", it'll be hard to top that masterpiece.
