Matthew Koma on course to match the number of top 40 hits by Carly Rae Jepsen this week then :heehee: (*waits for someone to not understand the relevance of this*)
Ella Henderson would make for a great #1. I really wanted her to win X Factor, but there was no way she would've survived the shock bottom 2 against James Arthur (although in hindsight I'm sure the judges would've picked Ella, as they wouldn't know at the time that James wouldn't have an outstanding career, 'Impossible' aside) (of course we can't make that assumption about Ella but I can see her getting more hit singles than James)

I get it and actually wondered how many CRJ got last week because of this

From BGT Final:

84. Evanescence- Bring Me To Life

135. Faith Evans & Twista- Hope

145. Beyoncé ft Jay-Z- Crazy In Love

226. Michael Buble- Feeling Good

250. Beyoncé- Naughty Girl

280. Beyoncé- Ring The Alarm

308. Luciano Pavarotti- Nessun Dorma

334. Otis Redding- Try a Little Tenderness

381. Beyoncé ft Jay-Z- Upgrade U

531. Beyoncé- Upgrade U

711. Russell Crowe- Stars

723. Muse- Feeling Good

878. Les Miserables 10th Anniversary Cast- Stars

889. Jay-Z & Kanye West ft Otis Redding- Otis

1 Ella Henderson - Ghost 1.0000

2 Ed Sheeran - Sing 0.6448

3 Sam Smith - Stay With Me 0.2717

And to think that he had a HUGE lead yesterday...

Cannot believe how well Lana is doing

Brooklyn baby is 3 and 100

It's only that high because it's an instant grat though, most of its sales will be coming from album pre-orders, and the song won't be chart eligible. Still a good achievement though, and a sign that her album will sell loads on its first week

Carly has 3 ('Call Me Maybe', 'Good Time' and 'Tonight I'm Getting Over You') and this will be Matthew's 3rd after 'Dare You' (by Hardwell) and 'Cannonball (Earthquake)' (by Showtek and Justin Prime).

Also - LOVE the Skepta song. Forgot that was out today.

Oh, back in the top 10 without even having to wait for Lana to drop out! Might have a chance of actually making the top 10 after all :D

(also lol jubel flop)

Lil Wayne & Drake are now at #30. Probably not going to hold up well enough over the week to make the top 40 but it could be there in the early mids.

Little Mix - Salute  9

They're actually 8 because Lana doesn't count. If they can hold up for a little while this could actually go top 10! Considering it's only gonna chart at like #25 on release week I'd be overjoyed with top 15 next week though. It's doubtful to hold up towards the end of the week because Radio 1 has taken it off the playlist.

Wow at this looking to debut inside the T5. I get that people complain about generic music from credible DJs, but it makes sense to get your name out there a bit more. A very "Animals"-bandwagon track in my opinion however.

?! Are you sure you're talking about that song?

'Wasted' up to #3. Seems like it'll quite easily take at least #4 officially depending on Sam Smith, but whether it'll beat the first week sales of 'Red Lights' (just over 40k) is a different question. It must have taken relatively few sales to reach #3 on iTunes at this time.

Skepta up to #17. Jme coming for another top 40 hit *.*

haven't even heard the Skepta/Jme song but yay for both of them having continued relevance *.* Jme needs to smash with one of his own songs soon, would be a shame for him to only be able to have hits as a featured artist.
