Fifth week ontop for 'Love Too Deep'

Ferreck Dawn & Redondo stay at number one for a fifth non consecutive week with their BJSC entry 'Love Too Deep'. The debut hit for Watermät climbs 48 places to be this week's number two. Zhu gets a new peak with 'Faded' (#3). Clean Bandit and Porter Robinson complete the top 5. The latest hit from Sander van Doorn and friends re-peaks at #7 where it debuted 2 weeks ago. There are no new entries to the top 10 other than the aforementioned 'Bullit'.

 

The highest new entry this week comes from Milky Chance, who made no impact with 'Stolen Dance' when it was entered into BJSC, but now enters at #15. It is their first hit single. Another new entry from a debuting act is Marcus Schössow & Arston at #18 with 'The Universe'. One place below, Wilkinson and Stadiumx enter with new single 'Half Light'. It is the second hit for both acts following Wilkinson's #9 hit 'Afterglow' and Stadiumx' #20 hit 'Howl At The Moon'.

 

Climbing into the top 20 is trance act MaRLo (41-14), the new collaboration from Röyksopp & Robyn (30-16), saxophone dance act De Hofnar (42-17), and Third Party (28-20) who previously had a #2 hit with Steve Angello collab 'Lights'. They continue the Angello relations with this single, as it is released on his label, Size.

 

In BJSC news, we have the entries from Aeroche (#29), FSR Rontvia (#30), N DNTN (#36), Mdice (#41), Persephonia (#44), Singerpurear (#45), and Cumulonimbia (#48) entering the chart this week. D'yermak'er's entry from last contest also enters at #43. Other entries come from Ed Sheeran who re-enters at #21 with his UK #1 hit 'Sing' and Twin Atlantic with their hit single 'Heart and Soul' (#35).

I think high climbs are going to be quite common in my chart now that I use a points system to compile it, made up of daily top 100s. I think the dislike is more for the genre rather than this particular song, it's one of the best #1s of the year along with Rather Be, Waves and My Lvoe though :heart:
