June 8, 201411 yr Throughout last Week the 3 Led Zeppelin Albums were in the Top 10, with their 1st Album at No.4. So I did 2 lots of Chart Trivia about it. 1) That they were only the 13th Act to have 3, (or more), Top 10 Albums in the same Chart. 2) And only the 5th British Act to achieve it. (The other 4 - The George Mitchell Minstrels, David Bowie, The Beatles, & Amy Winehouse). Also, the No.4 Position of the 1st Led Zeppelin Album meant that it had reached its Peak Position - after reaching No.6 in 1969. 3) It meant that it had taken 45 Years & 2 Months to reach both its Peak & the Top 5. Longer than any other Album ever. 4) Beating the previous 'Record Holder' - Off The Wall by Michael Jackson, which took 29 Years & 10 Months to Peak at No.3 in 2009, after getting to No.5 in 1979. After all that, it turns out that none of my Chart Trivia was valid, as the 3 Led Zeppelin Albums had all dropped by the time today's Chart was published - No.7, No.10, & No.12. So, Off The Wall remains the Album that took the longest time to reach its Peak. (It is also the Album that took the longest to reach the Top 3). I guess that the 1st Led Zeppelin Album holds one Chart Record, now that it is back in the Top 10. It is the longest gap between an Album last being in the Top 10, (May 1969), & that Album returning to the Top 10. Just over 45 Years. Edited June 8, 201411 yr by zeus555
June 8, 201411 yr Author Thanks for that - even if some of it did end up being invalid :( At least the info about the debut album is still valid! Do you (or anyone else) know whether any album has taken longer than Cold Fact's 44 years to reach the top 40?

June 9, 201411 yr Bre - Well spotted! I've now added the Led Zeppelin III Album to the List. It is in 2nd place - so Led Zeppelin hold the Top 2 places. I was so busy concentrating on the 1st Led Zeppelin Album, in the latest Album Chart, that I forgot that they were also at No.10 with their 3rd Album! Edited June 9, 201411 yr by zeus555
