This has had amazing holding power throughout the year but the sales finally seem to be slowing down. A great run for a great song. VIDEO GAMES- LANA DEL REY down 3 http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/LanaDelRey-VideoGames.png Peak: 1 in 2011, 12 in 2014 Chart Run since March 16 2014: [18-13-16-12-17-19-17-18-16] Biography: The oldest song in today's chart of 2 and 3/4 years, this was Lana Del Rey's first smash and first million seller. Shades Of Cool- Lana Del Rey down 9 http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/LanaDelRey-ShadesofCool.png Peak: 9 Chart Run: [9-18] Biography: This became Lana Del Rey's 9th top 10 hit and 11th top 40 hit last week as the 2nd single released from Ultraviolence. This just proves how popular Lana is at the moment but it had quite a poor hold on this week. Next week should see stronger sales and chart position because of the release of Ultraviolence which is being widely tipped to become the fastest selling album of all time. If I Die Young- The Band Perry Up 2 http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/TheBandPerry-IfIDieYoung.png Peak: 1 Chart Run: [1-8-6-6-5-11-13-13-9-12-12-17-19-17] Biography: If I Die Young failed to chart on original release but out of nowhere, went straight in at number 1 3 months ago finally ending Let It Go's massive run. A massive fall the next week showed signs of a short chart run but then it really started to pick up. This is it's 14th week in the top 20 and proves that country music is still really popular.

A short original chart run of 3 weeks proved that maybe the song could sell less than I'm not you toy but a re-entry today and the fact it is in the top 10 on fake iTunes at the moment shows this could have a good run. AS LONG AS I GOT YOU- LILY ALLEN UP 2 http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a556/jennacolemanfan/Sheezus_zps6ad31ace.png Peak: 3 Chart Run: [3-7-11-7-17-15] Biography: 1 of 3 songs this year that failed to debut at number 1 after topping the charts on the chart update, As long as I got you is proving to be the most popular non-single of Sheezus by miles and one of Lily Allen's non-single biggest songs [however it is still about 370k of f*** You and 250k of He Wasn't There and Who'd Have Known]. The song which sounds like something you would hear at a fair has had a quite good run so far.

HUMAN- CHRISTINA PERRI Nm http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/ChristinaPerri-Human.png Peak: 2 Chart Run: [7-2-6-2-2-2-3-3-5-7-11-10-9-14-14] Biography: Christina Perri's massive hit has shifted over 1.5M copies which makes it a massive surprise that this didn't make number 1 with a few weeks over 100k [down to Idina slaying everyone] but don't rule out a #1 yet for this song, it took jar of hearts 6 months to reach the top chart. FANCY- IGGY AZALEA FT CHARLI XCX DOWN 6 http://a2.mzstatic.com/us/r30/Features6/v4/30/17/8b/30178be8-fafe-518b-b321-d11300591d35/dj.kjhnbgrk.170x170-75.jpg Peak: 3 Chart Run: [12-N/A-19-7-5-9-4-3-7-13] Biography: Every single Iggy Azalea song had bombed at the charts and it looked like Fancy would head that way after falling to 38 in it's second week but then the clueless themed video started to get played more and then I watched clueless a few times [which is one of my favourite movies] and then the airplay increased which lead to this becoming one of the biggest surprise hits of the whole year. It is one of the few top 3 rap songs in the last few years and is still doing well after spending 6 weeks in the top 10.

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVER- KRISTEN BELL FT IDINA MENZEL UP 1 http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/Frozen.png Peak: 2 Chart Run from 16 March 2014: [19-15-13-4-3-5-4-6-8-10-9-6-12-11] Biography: One of the biggest selling singles ever to miss the top spot [another song held off by Let It Go], Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel's song from the Frozen soundtrack is still going strong after spending 20 weeks in the top 10 [including before 16 March]. Whispers- Passenger New Info: This is below the peak of 4 for his last album but still did OK. 8. A Perfect Contradiction- Paloma Faith down 7 Info: Paloma's first week outside of the top 5 came today. 7. Frozen- Various Artists down 3 Info: This is the frozen soundtrack first week out of the top 5 since well forever. It debuted at 5 in December and never left the top 5 until now 6. Sheezus- Lily Allen down 3 Info: WE HAVE A NEW MILLION SELLER- Allen's third album to pass that mark and it could possibly have enough steam to go infront of alright, still

The song which is taken from the musical If/Then has received a lot of airplay as this is her first song since Let It Go which is the 5th biggest selling song of all time on my charts. A massive success for a song from a musical that is not a film.

This is Paloma's 4th top 2 hit and another massive hit for her. Only Love Can Hurt Like This was another song held off by Let It Go [at the last second due to a BGT boost for the latter] and it still remains a massive song.

However it still remains the 5th biggest selling single ever of my charts and continues to shift loads of copies. What a run for an amazing song and it is far from over yet.
