7. EEZ-EH- KASABIAN DOWN 4

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/Kasabian-eez-eh.png

Peak: 3

Chart Run: [3-7]

Biography: This is Kasabian's second highest peaking single [after Club Foot in 2] and one of their biggest sellers ever. However it will never catch their biggest seller Fire which passed a million sales despite never hitting higher than 3rd [but that what happens when you go up against little boots and the veronicas]. This is still a major hit for the rock band and is their 6th top 5 hit. It didn't hold on great this week but it should stay more solid next week.

6. HOLDING ONTO HEAVEN- FOXES UP 5

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/Foxes-HoldingOntoHeaven.png

Peak: 6

Chart Run: [17-13-8-11-6]

Biography: Youth [9 with a very short chart run] and Let Go For Tonight [10 with quite short chart run] didn't do great so it looked like Foxes wouldn't do too well as an artist but holding onto heaven has slowly become a surprise hit. Originally failing to chart on it's debut, the song entered at 17 before hitting the top 10 two weeks later. This week it reached a new peak of 6 and is still selling strongly. A massive hit for Foxes.

Paloma Still in the top 10 yay! It's totally my song of the moment

NEW MILLION SELLER ALERT

5. WEST COAST- LANA DEL REY UP 3

http://i.imgur.com/oYkyTip.png

Peak: 1

Chart Run: [1-1-1-2-6-2-4-8-5]

Sales: 1,086,000

Biography: This was possibly the most predictable song to work out when it would hit a million with West Coast being less than 2,000 copies off the massive milestone last week. This is Lana Del Rey's 2nd song to reach the 1 million mark on her 9th week in the chart. The lead single from Ultraviolence has provided her with a super massive hit which is continuing to sell very strongly.

4. BUDAPEST- GEORGE EZRA NEW-ENTRY

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/GeorgeEzra-Budapest.png

Peak: 4

Sales: 89,860

Biography: What a massive debut for George Ezra for a number of reasons. A] It is his first single, B] It was released 16 hours after every other song but Brooklyn Baby this week, C] A last minute moving up date change and D] Pre-orders and buzz were very minimal with literally no airplay then. Airplay and my love for this song really increased this week leading to a fantastic start to Ezra's career.

3. ULTRAVIOLENCE- LANA DEL REY DOWN 1

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/LanaDelRey-Ultraviolence.png

Peak: 2

Chart Run: [2-3]

Sales: 281,260

Biography: And this is the last time you will hear from Lana today as she has a quarter of this weeks top 20 songs. The beautiful title track from Ultraviolence opened massively last week and held up very well this week and even better factoring the minimal airplay due to it not being available on spotify. Another top 2 hit arrived for Lana last week as she cements her status as one of the biggest artists of the last few years.

2. HOUSE OF CARDS- JANET DEVLIN RE-ENTRY/UP 30

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/JanetDevlin-HouseofCards.png

Peak: 2

Chart Run: [10-32-2]

Sales: 169,870 [sold massively this week but number 1 is massive]

Biography: Janet Devlin is having massive sales on both charts which is very impressive for a 5th place X-Factor contestant in this top 2 X-Factor losers [hint hint for #1]. House Of Cards debuted at 10 before plummeting next week but being re-play listed and increased airplay has led to a massive jump this week for Janet. A great song is getting it's deserved success on this chart

1. GHOST- ELLA HENDERSON

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/EllaHenderson-Ghost.png

Peak: 1

Chart Run: [1-1]

Sales: 465,380

Biography: What a massive hit for a contestant that only finished 6th on a season of the X-Factor that I didn't watch. Ghost had massive hit written over it on my charts since I first listened to it and it stayed constant top 10 on my fake ITunes even when it was only a pre-order for it's last week before release [and eventually hit 1 with 1 hour to be released] and Ella Henderson's song is smashing sales. It is the fastest selling single of it's first 2 weeks [west coast earned 450k first 2 weeks and let it go is counted as 2013] and this song is going to be around for a long time. Well done Ella for producing a class song.

Ok then

Here are my questions. Please people answer

I am doing the 2 features that OCC does based on my charts- song gems (instead of pop gems) and artist biggest selling songs. I want you to decide who I do first based on my choices

For biggest selling songs should I do

Lily allen top 25?

Lana del Rey top 10?

Paloma faith top 10?

For song gems the theme this week is songs that took a long time to get to #1. Should I do

Remedy- little boots

Jar of hearts- Christina Perri

Mine- taylor swift

Hiya, Ultraviolence!

My favourites:

1. Ghost- Ella Henderson nm

5. West Coast- Lana Del Rey up 3

6. Holding Onto Heaven- Foxes up 5

7. Eez-Eh- Kasabian down 4

9. Only Love Can Hurt Like This- Paloma Faith up 1

13. Fancy- Iggy Azalea Ft Charli XCX down 6

19. Video Games- Lana Del Rey down 3
