So we have had Ella Henderson's Ghost at No.1 in the 2014 Singles Chart,

& Coldplay's Ghost Stories at No.1 in the 2014 Albums Chart.

 

You'd think that having a Ghost Title at No.1 - in both Charts - in the

same Calendar Year, is unique. It isn't. It was also done in an earlier Year.

 

1981 - In July 1981 The Specials had a 3 Week No.1 Single with Ghost Town.

In October 1981 The Police had a 3 Week No.1 Album with Ghost In The Machine.
