FLASHBACK: 21 JUNE 2009

This was a massive week last year. Jordin Sparks scored the 2nd biggest week of sales of the whole year with 238k [only behind Happy- Leona with 258k] to have a 2nd week at number 1. The song was the biggest selling song of 2009 and has shifted a massive total of 3.2M to date- one of the biggest ever sellers.

In number 2 was Paparazzi- Lady Gaga who reached a new peak in her 8th week. The song eventually reached number 1 and is also a million seller with 1.17m.

Number 3 was one of David Guetta's highest charting songs ever with when love takes over with Kelly Rowland. The song has shifted over 550k

Number 4 was Pixie Lott's breakthrough Mama Do which remains her biggest selling single to date with 890k

And in number 5 was The Veronicas massive hit untouched which is up for pop gem this week

New entries this week included: Stone Cold Sober- Paloma Faith in 7 starting off her massive career. Despite never going any higher, the track spent 14 weeks in the top 20 in 2009 and has sold 820k because of many re-entries over the past few years. Heartbreak [Make Me A Dancer] debuted in 11 and remains Freemasons highest charting single. The track sold 85k. That was it for new-entries this week

9. LET IT GO- IDINA MENZEL DOWN 1

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/IdinaMenzel-LetItGo.png

And secondly she is still top 10 after being at number 12 during the midweek stage. Like I said earlier, the frozen fever continues and Idina Menzel is still top 10 for the 30th week now.

Information: This is another song that feels like it has been around much longer but unfortunately for Foxes, this is probably her last week in the top 10 with this song. Anyway what a run after it failed to go top 20 in it's first week.

6. WEST COAST- LANA DEL REY DOWN 1

http://i.imgur.com/oYkyTip.png

Peak: 1

Chart-Run: 1-1-1-2-6-2-4-8-5-6

Information: And it is week number 10 for Lana in the charts this week as the million seller continues to sell strong while moving up the Year end charts again. Fantastic lead single for Lana Del Rey and this is definitely not the last time you will see her on the charts today.

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/LanaDelRey-Ultraviolence.png

Peak: 4

Information: The song from Ultraviolence has made a massive impact on the chart since Monday and this results in another top 5 hit for Lana Del Rey and her 10th top 10 hit which is massive for such a short career. Well she now has money, power and definitely glory.

3. NEON LIGHTS- DEMI LOVATO NEW-ENTRY

http://a4.mzstatic.com/us/r30/Music2/v4/b1/15/da/b115da3e-7dc0-58d1-efa6-40b6db54d290/14DMGIM05109.170x170-75.jpg

Peak: 3

Information: This is Demi Lovato's third single off the album to hit top 3 after Heart Attack [1 for 5 weeks, million seller and 5th biggest song of 2013] and made in the USA [3 and 285,890 sales]. This still hit big despite the very recent pushback and Demi can add another hit song to the collection.

2. ULTRAVIOLENCE- LANA DEL REY UP 1

http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/LanaDelRey-Ultraviolence.png

Peak: 2

Chart-Run: 2-3-2

Information: Could Lana be chasing another million selling hit, well she could be if she continues at this pace. This swapped many times with number 1 over the week including being #1 in the midweek chart but it wasn't meant to be this week. Well anyway the album is the fastest ever seller and this is her 6th song in this weeks top 20 so everything is awesome.
