Andy Carroll has been ruled out of the season with a medical ligament tear in his left knee.

QPR have appointed Chris Ramsey as their head coach until the end of the season.

No Premier games were played this weekend, FA Cup round tomorrow.

Chelsea held at home by Burnley  They were so over-hyped earlier in the season, Man City have the experience of catching teams to win the title - Could it happen again??

Pleased that Man United and Villa lost too.

Chelsea will still win I think. 5 points is still a favourable advantage & City are prone to the odd shocker too so I see the gap potentially remaining the same until the end.

Awful again from United we simply can't play away from home. Only bright side is that Swansea are my second team...

Apparently Man United played better today but van Persie was very wasteful. Wonder if he'll be sold in the summer?

The referee was an absolute disgrace today.

How Ashley Barnes was sent off is beyond mind boggling. We never really threatened to attack Burnley and we should have pushed for a second rather than being content in a 1 nil lead.

Mourinho has out-whinged Wenger by such a massive margin this season that I can't help but be amused to see Chelsea suffer from several poor decisions today.

Gutted about the Tottenham West Ham match earlier. We finally dropped Nolan and outplayed Tottenham for long periods! Coasting at 2-0 until Adrian's dodgy punch and WTF was Song thinking pushing Kane over in the last minute!?

Tottenham scarcely deserved a draw.

Chelsea always do this. Guarantee you they will loose more points in "bankers" as the season goes on. They did exactly last year. As long as City keep the pressure up then, it might keep the title race interesting. Fabregas always starts the season well and then fades. Did the same at Arsenal and Barca too!

Great win for Liverpool - top 3/4 is wide open!

There'll be no action taken by the FA over Ashley Barnes tackle on Matic during Saturday's Chelsea v Burnley game which led to Matic to being sent off for his reaction.

Problem with the system imo. Was a really bad challenge, no need for the Matic reaction though.

Shocking, should get a lengthy ban for that, one of the worst tackles you could ever see.

It was bad, but there have been worse that have gone unpunished (Callum McManaman against Newcastle is a particular shocker I remember).

What did people think of Mourinho's interview on Sky on Sunday? Is he just deflecting attention from Chelsea's stuttering performances or are they really on the receiving end of terrible decisions? He claimed there's only been one good decision in their favour all season!

I think it's a bit of both. To me personally he's losing grip of control. He went off the boil at Inter Milan and at Real Madrid. I think the pressure is starting to tell. You can see old Mourinho tactics are creeping in, i.e. defending a 1-0 lead. Guess we'll see, but this Chelsea side is the best team in the Premier League on paper since the 08/09 Manchester United team. They should be walking the league.

If anybody makes a threatening challenge you're always going to react and the sensible thing would be to either punish both or punish neither.

Yeah that was another awful challenge I had on my mind, Haidara came out a lot worse off than Matic too.

He seemed to forget about Cahill somehow avoiding a red card against Hull & the 2 penalties awarded against Arsenal & QPR (though the former was pretty stone-wall) but they have had numerous wrong decisions go against them that is true. Think it's rubbish there's any sort of campaign going on however.
