Hull v Sunderland 0-0

Southampton v Crystal Palace 2-1

Wednesday:

Man City v Leicester 3-1

Newcastle v Man Utd 0-2

QPRv Arsenal 1-3

Think those predictions are will be fairly accurate of the results, tho I fancy Villa to get a point against West Brom. Either that or a 0-0.

Also Adam Johnson has just been arrested by police..

Think that Swansea will win at Tottenham and West Ham will draw with Chelsea.
Sunderland have suspended Adam Johnson after being arrested on suspicion of having sex with a minor.

Top teams all winning again.

Looking bleak down the bottom.. not counting Aston Villa as they will always be there or thereabouts.

Went to the game tonight and thought West Ham were unlucky not to get a result. Sakho missed so many chances and the performance was a hundred times more committed than the Palace match.

However, Chelsea dug in and their centre backs and Courtois were immense. This sort of performance is one that wins league titles and they ground out a win tonight. Could have scored a couple more on the counter as well.

Was Hazard's goal offside? Looked like it could have been from where I was standing.

Definitely offside. Not sure how that fits in with Mourinho's conspiracy theory.

Hazard was a good half a yard offside. These are the games that win the league, but they're not blitzing teams anymore. Undoubtedly Chelsea will be dropping points in the near future, depends how they keep their nerve. Last year they lost it, but think a lot of them will have learned from it.

Papiss Cisse has accepted an FA charge of spitting at Manchester United's Johnny Evans. He could face a six-match ban as could Johnny Evans who has yet to comment or accept the charge.

What's the worst incident of spitting at a football match you've seen?

I'm thinking of Rijkaard at the 1990 World Cup against Holland when he spat at Voeller.

Diouf for me at Liverpool against Celtic. Awful act by an awful player.

Funniest part was Jonny Evans said he DIDN'T spit  That's the same as Suarez saying he fell in to Chellini!

Rijkaard is the most famous incident, especially the pictures of the spit hanging from Voeller's perm

Vieria did it against West Ham in 1999 and got a six match ban, so the precedent for punishment is there.

Papiss Cisse and Jonny Evans have both received bans from the FA following the spitting incident during Wednesday's match with Newcastle United and Manchester United. Cisse receives a seven-match ban and Evans receives a six-match ban.

What do people make of the length of the bans that they have got?

Silly that they both get 6/7 game bans when Costa only gets a 3 game ban. However, spitting is something that should not be part of the game because it's disgusting behaviour. My nonly disappointment is Evans didn't get an extra game for trying to be a cheeky sod :D
Sunderland are incredibly lucky there are 3 even worse teams than them this year, they'd be in deep trouble at this stage in almost every other PL season.
I reckon Man City might have a job on to finish in the Top 4.

Two weeks ago you were almost certain that Manchester City would win the premier league! I'm sure City will have a new manager at the end of the season because their team right now is beyond disappointing.

I'm still hoping Liverpool manage top four, Rodgers has done an incredible job and he's built up an equally impressive team as last year, of course Liverpool losing Suarez and Sturidge for the majority of the season I think they've went through an incredible run of form and I think they deserve top four far more than City and United.

Yes but this was before they self imploded. I still think Chelsea will drop points, but essentially, Man City are doing this season what Chelsea did last year.

Going to be really close, probably go down to the last game of the season. Though most teams have to play each other yet, Man Utd-Spurs tomorrow is a huge game.

I think City will still comfortably make it, they have a much easy run-in than the others.

United play 4 of the top 6 in their next 5 games so results in those will be pivotal, at least we had not too bad results against them in the first ties. Liverpool have 6/10 games away from home with some tricky looking fixtures but have the best form. Arsenal always make it.

So it's really between United & Liverpool for me, Spurs will always screw it up & Southampton are finally hitting their inevitable fade away...
