This Manchester derby looks even tastier now!

Making me think if Liverpool crop their ideas up we could still get 4th  don't tease me!

Given the way City are playing it can't be completely ruled out! Liverpool would probably have to win 3 more games than them but after what happened with United in 11/12 season that point gap is not unbridgeable.
I'm a pool fan but I'd like to see United get stuffed by them because the arrogance of their supporters is sky high again after the past 3 matches think they're destined to win the league again next yr with Van Gaal. If we could drop out of the top 4 for the first time in 20 seasons and still go out and attract the likes of Falcao and Di Maria and splash the cash for them it would be great.....

The Man Utd business model is unsustainable, I mean I think they would have really struggled had they not got Top 4 again this year. The problem is teams will fleece them again in the summer, but it will be interesting to see why they go for. Most interesting for me is the "philosophy" Van Gaal speaks with. Sure what he's doing at the moment with Fellaini works right now but not sure that's what the fans want longer term. As for the title.. well I'd be surprised but think it could be quite open again next year. Certainly don't expect Chelsea to have no competition again come February.

Anyway the thing that still makes me smile is they'll be left with Giggs in charge in a couple of years :D :P

Another relegation-battle game tonight at the moment with Aston Villa playing QPR. Currently at 1-1.

Still feel that Aston Villa will go down.

They're Man United they get 76k people every home game that's what gives them so much money and the ability to buy more world class players means they'll get into the champs league most yrs and it's one big neoliberal circle of a monopoly. Next chance will be when Wenger retires.

Hull have got a terrible run of fixtures left whereas Burnley have a few winnable games. I can see Burnley staying up and Hull going down.

Can't see Burnley staying up tbh, they'll just fail I think.

I think QPR are the most likely to get out of it - they've turned a corner and they've got the experience there. Leicester are unlikely too, left themselves too much to do.

Hull could be this years Norwich - felled by a horrendous late fixture run. Would love either Villa or Sunderland to go, they've both stank the league out for years.

Even more surprising results this weekend. Leicester really giving the others to think about now. Still think they've got only a slim chance (their game in hand will be a certain defeat I'd say) so they still have to win maybe 4/5 of their last 7 matches.

Vital for Villa, can't see them having any problems now Spurs are usually a massive bogey team for them. Sherwood factor made it slightly more believable as that's how football tends to work. Hull are going down with a whimper if they play like they did today but they seem to play well against bigger teams so their initially tricky-looking final 7 games might play into their favour.

As for Sunderland well I think they're toast. Only turn up for the derbies these days I'd say they have to win 3 of their next 4 games as they finish the season with Arsenal & Chelsea away, have fun there. Palace though, unbelievable. They're gonna finish 8th in the league at this rate!

Over to you Burnley & QPR (think they're both nailed on defeats but you can never tell).

Poor performance today from West Ham and more dropped points late in the game. Glad I sold my ticket for today, I think Big Sam's time has run its course now. Wouldn't be surprised if we finished 11th!

Why? How did you expect West Ham to do??

I personally think Harry Redknapp will be manager at the beginning of next season!

Hull might play better against the top teams but they've so far got four points from 12 games against sides in the top 8. Their remaining 6 fixtures include 4 of the top 7 and they're away to Palace next match.

I really hope at least one of them and Sunderland can go down. With their form, way they're playing and remaining fixtures the only thing saving West Brom is how inept the teams below them are.

We're going to finish bottom, you heard it here first.
Palace are slaying so hard it makes me wish I was a supporter. Always like to see Everton do ok too, shame their first half lead was thrown away.

I don't want Hull to go down as I like Steve Bruce. Would be great to see Burnley survive though.

QPR I'm split, I don't really like the club but Chris Ramsey seems a nice bloke. On the flipside I hope Leicester go down as Nigel Pearson is quite the twat.

It wouldn't be a surprise looking at Hull's remaining fixtures, if they lose all their remaining games.

Not a chance. Moyes and Bilic are favourites at the moment, Bielsa would be an amazing shout but obviously his lack of Premier League experience may count against him.

We should be clear in 8th by now but late goals have just killed us. Beating Spurs, United and Stoke would have made our Spring form look an awful lot better.

I really hope not! As has been said, Bielsa would be amazing. Not too keen on Moyes, Billic would be a step into the unknown and Benitez probably wouldn't come.

I think West Ham should be at least 8th and looking to get into the Europa League. The first 11 is good, but the squad has limited depth to it. Allardyce stumbled on a winning formula earlier this season (if Nolan and Carroll weren't injured they'd have played ahead of Sakho). The surrender at Chelsea on Boxing Day set the tone really and lost momentum, compounded with the West Brom cup match and the Palace debacle. Song has lost form, and its hard to see where Allardyce goes from here.

From the outside looking in, it has been a good season. I think the club are ambitious and with the stadium move, wanna step it up a gear. The results since Christmas have not been good enough, and with fan unrest rising, I think a parting would beat for both parties this summer. Allardyce will end up at Sunderland I bet. He has been good for the club in general, but this season has turned into a disappointing anti-climax.

Nice win by Man United. They look like a team who have only played 40 games this season. Man City just looked disinterested as soon as they went behind! What a turnaround for Fellaini, he is instrumental to the way this Man United team play currently. Such an option for them - although I would worry how long it will last when teams begin thinking of ways to outsmart the tactic.

If Liverpool win tomorrow night, I might have a bit of belief that we could actually get 4th. This City team look totally dejected, and a few players look to have their minds set on summer, and leaving the club. Here's to hope!
