September 6, 200618 yr How the hell is kelly Osbourne under-rated, there isn't much to rate considering the girl can't sing for sixpence
September 6, 200618 yr How the hell is kelly Osbourne under-rated, there isn't much to rate considering the girl can't sing for sixpence  Exacxtly - really to be truely underrated you need to consistantly write your own, good material and have a lot of material and not get too much good sales or critical acclaim but at the same time not to have bad press. Also, people/bands who are in the same style but seem to sell loads more. I think theat even though I'm not a huge fan of either of these acts, Belle and Sebastian and Beverly Knight are probably the two most underrated and underappreciated acts of the last ten years. September 6, 200618 yr How the hell is kelly Osbourne under-rated, there isn't much to rate considering the girl can't sing for sixpence  I saw the 'Changes' video yesterday and god is she dire and Ozzy isn't much better - I can't believe that pile of c**p got to #1 :puke: I must admit she was a lot better when she released 'One Word' as rock really didn't suit her - she may have the rock image and rockstar father but she sings like a cat being strangled the foul woman.
September 6, 200618 yr Oh another are Amy Studt and Sinead Quinn. Most people haven't even heard Sinead's album and think it's typical Reality TV show stuff but it is one of my favourites of the last few years and Amy's album is great also. Even though both had moderate success people just write them off as another female solo artist but meh :(
September 6, 200618 yr Her album "sleeping in the nothing" was brilliant! Despite not having great vocal talent she released a great album. Don't know (or care) how much input she actually had into it, but it was great none the less. Many singers don't have brilliant voices but have nice recording vocals. Live she may sound like a strangled chicken but on a cd she is just fine Edited September 6, 200618 yr by Ozx
