Cheryl going this high on streaming really makes me angry at Radio 1 not fully supporting the song and dropping it quickly. It would have taken the single to an other level of popularity surely, since people are streaming it lots despite de fact it's not doing great on airplay.
I Don't Care was one of radio 1s most played tracks at least one of the weeks she was on the B list!
You Ruin Me was a 3 week #1 in Australia and scraped #49 on Spotify for one day, so don't be surprised if it does nothing :P

I think it's primarily that the audiences don't match up, but also that You Ruin Me (much like most Australian pop artist releases) was discounted and heavily promoted, which really inflates sales (which is equivalent to chart performance, until streaming is added next week!) but doesn't translate the same on streaming. Of course the discounting/promo isn't relevant to the UK, but I think the audiences not matching is valid with all that Heart airplay, much like OLCHLT.

Well I'd be surprised if The Vericonas can hold top 10, Sunday because streaming certainly won't be to their advantage unfortunately :(

Maybe they might do a G.R.L. and show up around 50 next Tuesday.

 

YES to Echosmith & Geronimo holding steady and climbing. Hope this means they will go top 40 officially somehow.

Im well pleased with Hoziers performance he just keeps moving up when heavily played songs by Maroon 5 slow down im loving it, hope radio stations start to notice its popularity! 27 in the midweeks too!
God knows why The Veronicas song isn't showing up, it's brilliant

 

Sod's law. :( No doubt it'll enter early next week, when it really needed to this week.

If it's sales are front loaded the lack of streams could push it down the chart rather quickly :(, let's hope its lack of airplay = a longer chart life as people like it on first listen
