Streaming definitely affected the overall chart position. Apparently it would have ended up at #25!

This is why I don't think streaming has done a good job for the charts. Yes, it's keeping up with the changing times, but you can see how much difference it actually makes, 13 positions in The Saturdays case.

Such a shame, and it does not do the song justice! I suppose it could have done a Pixie Lott and not even charted...

UK Singles Chart: #38

UK Sales Chart: #25

UK Singles Download Chart: #31

UK Album Download Chart: #20

UK Albums Chart: #10

Scotland Singles Chart: #12 :o

Scotland Albums Chart: #9

So the physicals boosted it 6 places :o
Once again Scotland proves it is better than everywhere else.
The Sats have a flawless singles discography in Scotland. 9 top 5 singles, 15 top 10 singles, and all their songs (except Work which DNC) have went top 20!
If Scotland does go independent, The Sats should make it their main priority

I don't want to be pessimistic, I've stanned them since Up but I'm not sure they can come back from this... :/

Sold 140,000.

Streaming cost it obviously.

Take away the 00s and you'd be closer  :(

I am not sure if I read this right, but apparently What Are You Waiting For? Sold around 3000 copies this week.

Luckily not. 14k, still terrible.

No surprise here.

Oh well, I'm still enjoying the new tracks!

I really hope they return to their (electro/synth) pop routes; they do dance-infused pop very well but I personal enjoy the former more. It also seems to be their most popular with the public and radio.

I prefer the dance-infused pop, but it's not as if I dislike their electro/synth pop numbers and considering the public does seem to warm up a lot more to that kind of music from them, I hope for the same.

I figured they may have a higher peak in Scotland since Clyde 1 was giving them a fair few spins (I heard it in work just about every day). Scotland in general seems more supportive of girl groups - just look at Neon Jungle's peaks (and Little Mix to a lesser extent).

Pretty sure 'Work' got to #2 in Scotland, it did according to ChartsPlus anyway! The Scottish chart was based on just physical sales back then.

Scotland surely is superior :kink:

Was just coming to say if we get independence which chart should I be listening to :o

Not looking forward to Music Week tearing the Saturdays a new one (again), but at least let's hope they can give us some sales we don't already know for some singles/albums.
Those singles sales are a joke. If that's not a sign that their work ethic and approach towards their releases needs to change, then I don't know what is.
