Yeah the same promo with causal spins on Capital and B list on Radio 1 would have given them top 5 singles and album, I'm certain. But since they have no airplay they need to work HARDER with promo to get people interested again.

They played about 10 seconds of this on CBB tonight, after 808 last night! That one TV show is like 99% of the promo for this era

I played WAYWF to my best mate this weekend and he already knew the song.

Needless to say I was absolutely shocked (altho he did think the song was called Party Freak )

This was used in Tuesday nights CBB :D
Just rewatched their performance on National Lottery and it was actually really good! I think the routine for WAYWF is actually very strong, far better than the LFTW routines now that they've perfected it. Not to mention they all look amazing and the pre-recorded vocals actually sound good.
Did not manage a second week in the top 100. Bleak.

:o

I disagree, personally.

'What About Us' (old routine), 'Disco Love' and 'Gentleman' all have much stronger routines than 'WAYWF' in my opinion. I would say it's more on the same level as 'Not Giving Up', even though I feel like the finger point during the chorus is far much more iconic than anything in 'WAYWF' routine. The "we're gonna party party party" routine still makes me cringe to no end. It's so awkward.

I think the WAYWF routine is quite childish tbh.

25-94 in the sales only chart, which would still have been dreadful! :o

We won't know until Thursday where it is in the main chart. I'm going to predict that it's fallen over 100 places and will only be around #140-ish.

Where was it that Flatline charted again?

Where was it that Flatline charted again?

It's second week was higher than What Are You Waiting For, doll.

(And I never claimed it was a hit)

But the Saturdays never had the (obvious) problems the Sugababes had (ie kicking out members everytime someone had a little fuss) - they've been consistent, but are now failing at everything.

Of course you do

The WAYWF routine feels more high energy and isn't as repetitive as a lot of their former routines. The original WAU routine is probably better but the mic stand one is totally dull. Gentleman is just a bunch of hand movements and Disco Love was okay but most of the energy came from their back up dancers. Not Giving Up was a cringe fest. I thought the finger shaking during the chorus was awful :P

Well at least they are consistent while failing. As opposed to the Sugababes, who have continued to fail while being inconsisted as f***.

So please, when you start hating on other artists (Yes bitch I've seen you around the forum) please make sure your own fave is perfect themselves, which in your case they are far from. A 54-50-OUT chartrun is not something to brag about, no matter how hard the other is flopping

EDIT: Just to add, if we were to include streaming in the Flatline chartrun, It'd have been lucky to make the top 70

Gurl, you seem a bit mad.

Take a sip of tea, chillax and enjoy the Saturdays major flop is my advice to you.

Pop music is not that serious. x

What kind off generic "I don't know what to say anymore cuz I just lost the argument" reply

Ain't nobody mad around here, just telling you how it is bbgirl

Comparing a flop to another flop is useless. It's like me comparing Flatline to where Nicki French's latest single charted - it doesn't change that both are flops.

You were just looking to start a bit of drama to distract from the major flop that is What Are You Waiting For, hun.
