The girls need to listen to the fans. They always say 'We love hearing from you guys' but they never take any advice on board. Does anyone have any of the girls following them so that they can DM them on twitter? Give them the link to this thread. They need a reality check, DESPERATELY. If this campaign flops then they wont be able to go on 'holiday' 8 times a year, and if they do, it will be to a caravan park in a shitty part of the UK.

Don't rule out Capital playlisting yet as they add songs any time up to the release date. I'd be surprised if this wasn't added in the next couple of weeks!

It's not the girls, it's management. Polydor and WeLovePop. If you tweet them, they might actually listen. They're the ones who have the power to say, 'hold on, you've just had quite a lot of time off, eave your holiday until the end of this campaign because we've got a single to promote'

Rochelle will get TV work and more fashion work, plus she can sponge off Marvin. The queen won't be going to no caravan parks anytime soon! ;)

 I hope when Rochelle and Marvin are on 'This Morning' she mentions the single, Una should hold up a banner saying 'Buy WAYWF' at Ben's next game

Anyone else's Greatest Hits showing the album for full price now? Not discounting any tracks
I really think they do a lot of stuff for an artist that's seven years into their careers. They shouldn't have to be on every tv show, appear at every radio station now. They put all the hard work in at the start. I personally don't care too much on how this all performs. They've continued with less sales than what they will get this time. The video would have cost them nothing, the single was recorded ages ago and I dare day so were the other tracks. So no recording or production costs were incurred. This will basically be all profit for them. I have no worries about whether or not we will get more material from them. Just enjoy the music and stop worrying!

The two other tracks were recorded this year, however 'What Are You Waiting For' actually precedes 'On Your Radar' and have been re-worked.

Didn't Capital playlist Your Love just a week or two prior to release? I'm over dwelling on playlisting. I fully expect this to go Top 10 based off hype alone, and as long as the album and tour do alright they'll be fine.
I don't know If anybody has noticed or mentioned this yet but I was watching Notorious casually on youtube just to listen to and there was a 30 second clip of Una and the girls from the What Are You Waiting For Behind The Scenes video before Notorious started (like a normal youtube advertisement) talking about the song and first choice holidays. The video ended with something about First Choice. I think it's only being played before the Saturdays videos from their youtube/vevo channel which is still good online promotion I guess cos people will be listening to their tracks casually and just come across it, listen to the song and then buy it :) but I also wonder if it's played before other videos which have nothing to do with the Saturdays which is highly unlikely but hmm

Oh since they didn't spend that much money on recording I really hope their label spends a lot of money on Vevo to get the best promo on YouTube. They always had that kind of promo for each of their videos, but (I think) it was UK only and (I think) it would only stay for like a week or something and wouldn't appear on a lot of videos somehow. They did actually have it much longer with 'What About Us' so maybe it helped?

Hopefully 'What Are You Waiting For' is playlisted by Capital next week, Track Of the day from Radio 1 next week. We will all celebrate and it will smash in the top 5.

:kink:

In all seriousness though, maybe they should put it on Spotify to get the song noticed a little bit more?

Aw right, thanks! Just to update my earlier post the 30 second clip I was talking about does play in other artists videos. I played Pink's 'Blow Me One Last Kiss' and the same advertisement video of the girls behind the scenes of WAYWF played before the Pink song so clearly the advert is used before most youtube videos or at least similar pop artist's videos and not just before The Saturdays videos which is great as it'll bring in a wider audience and not just casual saturdays fans :yahoo:

That's great...but do we hear the track ha?

It feels like a 'First Choice' ad before being a 'WAYWF' one from what you're telling us?

the track is in the background but yeah to be honest it is more abut First Choice but still, more promotion than the girls are doing right now ^_^

It's finally entered rolling TV airplay at #38 today. It's up 33 from #71 last Sunday. Hopefully it can beat NGU's #22 peak at least.

I believe it can. When did Not Giving Up enter in the TV airplay chart?

The week it hit the tv channels it went to 44 or 48 and then rose to 22 the next week before plummeting, I can't remember at what point in the release schedule it was, but I remember it got it's video slots early in the week, like Sunday or something. WAYWF only went to tv like Thursday or Friday last week, which is why it's as low as #71
