Am I the only one on here that thinks MAGIC! will win quite easily? 'Rude' seems to have picked up the momentum at exactly the right time, whereas 'Crazy Stupid Love' feels old already. Streaming will probably help MAGIC! quite a bit too.

I think Cheryl's lead will be too difficult for Magic! to overcome. Cheryl will also have the #01 effect on iTunes as she will immediately go to number one. I do think it will be closer than anticipated but I fully believe Cheryl will have an 8,000-12,000 lead come the end of the week. She will have picked up enough pre-orders within the first month to have a good enough lead.

I agree. Also, whenever she announces her marriage/engagement, people can always claim it's a publicity stunt. So no matter what she can't win.

 

Same when people divorce. I remember when Cheryl had problems in her previous marriage and she was on TV crying and people said she was faking it. I just don't get it. Why does that have to be faked? She can have feelings just like any other person. If she gets cheated on, of course she'll be upset. The only reason she gets accused of faking it is because she's famous. That's it. Because she's famous, every time she gets married or divorced people will claim it's fake or for attention.

I agree too. yes Cheryl will have a massive amount of pre-orders and will have a lead in mid-weeks, but it's not like Magic! won't have any pre-orders, they will have spent two weeks ahead of Cheryl, and will have a decent amount of pre-orders themselves. Plus Rude will be more popular in release week/get more streams.
