Never heard of Tricia Helfer

Anjelica Huston A fantastic addition to the list and I have enjoyed many of her movies and her performances, she is a fantastic actress. "Prizzi's Honour" (well deserved oscar win, and plus fantastic movie with brilliant performances plus Jack Nicholson and Kathleen Turner, both I always enjoy), "The Witches" (loved this when I was a kid, and plus Anjelica stole the show), "The Grifters" (great performances, great thriller, totally takes you by surprise with it's twists), "The Addams Family" (first ever movie I saw in the cinema, love it's gothic tone and kookiness, plus all the family were great, especially Raul Julia and Uncle Festa), Addams Family Values (great sequel, just as enjoyable as the first, plus love Joan Cusack in it), "Ever After" (fitted the wicked stepmother really well), "The Royal Tenebaums" (I really liked this), "Blood Work" (okay, but pretty boring), "Daddy Day Care" (what was she thinking, just terrible), "Material Girls" (just awful, again what was she thinking), "The Life Aquatic" (one of the most boringest movies of all time, a career miss for everyone involved), "Horrid Henry - The Movie"! (quite fun for a kids movie, but Anjelica's performance was believeable and a highlight, she was very funny in it).

Tricia Helfer is Celene from "Walk All Over Me"

Also she has played several prominent video game roles in recent years (Red Alert 3, Halo 3, Starcraft 2, Spiderman : Web Of Shadows).

Not well-known actress, because she didn't have any roles in blockbaster movies. Her filmography is not short, I even never heard about some films. Need to check them.

Courteney Cox Loved Loved Loved her in Friends, one of my all time favourite sitcoms. I remember first seeing her in Masters Of The Universe, (I just loved it, pure 80's cheese, so bad it's good, just love it), Cocoon - The Return (not a very good sequel), Ace Ventura (Great Jim Carrey comedy, still makes me laugh now), Scream (My all time fave slasher movie), Scream 2 (fantastic sequel, just brilliant), Scream 3 (not as strong as first 2, *1but still good but the kills were lame), Scream 4 (actually enjoyed, I loved the twist at the beginning and plus better than part 3), loved Gale Weathers in all 3 films, always on fine form as always. 3000 Miles To Graceland (agree boring), The Shrink Is In (I thought it was quite okay, just great, but passable), November (really dull, but Courteney was fantastic in it. Never seen Couger Town.

Dakota Fanning She is a fantastic actress and hopefully will make it big again. "I Am Sam" (fantastic movie), "Uptown Girls" (An okay bit of fluff, Dakota saved ir though), "The Cat In The Har" (nothing could save this mess, just terrible and weird), "Man On Fire" (great action flick, Denzel and Dakota were great in it, and had great chemistry together), "Hide And Seek" (bored me to tears, *2and guessed the awful twist at the end at about 5 mins into the movie), "War Of The Worlds" (just didn't like), "Dreamer" (okay but Dakota was really strong in it), "The Secret Life Of Bees" (underrated and plus great performances in it), Coraline (brilliant voice work, and quite creepy), "Push" (awful), I actually do like the Twilight movies apart from the 2nd one which bored me to tears, the 3rd one though much much better and more enjoyable and plus loved the final one.

*1 Actually, the kills were tragicomic and there were some annoying characters..

*2 I didn't expect this end but I found it very disappointing and offensive too..

Uma Thurman

http://108.168.216.235/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Uma_Thurman-026.jpg

Uma Thurman is an American actress and model. However, her father is of English, German, Scottish, and Irish ancestry and her mother is of German, Swedish and Danish ancestry. That's why Uman is so special woman..Uma and her siblings spent time in the Himalayan town of Almora (India) during childhood because their father is a Buddhist. The latter gave his children a Buddhist upbringing. "Uma" means "Light" in Sanskrit. Regarding religion, she now calls herself agnostic. Uma began her career as a fashion model when she was fifteen years old. She signed with the agency Click Models! She made her movie debut in 1988, appearing in four films that year (Kiss Daddy Goodnight, Johnny Be Good, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen and Dangerous Liaisons)! The most acclaimed of her first four films was "Dangerous Liaisons". This movie helped her to be recognisable worldwide. However, she played in many successful fims the following years. She has a wide variety of roles but her most famous character is as Beatrix Kiddo/The Bride in "Kill Bill". She won a Golden Globe Award for her participation in the miniseries "Hysterical Blindness" (2002) and she had two Golden Globe Award nominations for her leading role in both "Kill Bill" films (2003/2004). Uma totally owns this role and I'm sure that everone has enjoyed both of them!! Uma married to Gary Oldman in 1990 but divorced two years later. She married to Ethan Hawke in 1998 but they separated five years later although the divorce was finalized in 2005. They have two children! Uma's last role was as Mrs. H in "Nymphomaniac". Two members had her name on their lists.

I have watched some of her movies so far : Jennifer 8 (interesting script, unpredictable ending), Pulp Fiction (it was quite good but it's so overrated, the soundtrack is great), Batman & Robin (not the best of the series), Gattaca (One of my favourite movies in 90's, great script and performances), Kill Bill Volume 1 (Nothing can beat this!), Paycheck (I really like this one, great action movie, I want to watch it again), Kill Bill Volume 2 (the great story goes on..), Be Cool (a little bit silly and forgettable), Prime (waste of time), The Producers (entertaining movie with funny moments), My Super Ex-Girlfriend (it was a little bit silly but very funny in some parts), Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (Dreadful, one of my worst films that year) and Nymphomaniac (controversial and provocative but not so bad).

I would suggest you to watch "Jennifer 8" because it's one of her most intriguing characters and the scipt was quite good, "Pulp Fiction" because it defines 90's although it's not one of my favourite movies, "Gattaca" because the main story has something to say and it's full of social messages, Kill Bill Volume 1 / Kill Bill Volume 2 because it's one of the best revenge stories of cinema, "Paycheck" because it was an entertaining action movie and "Nymphomaniac" because you will learn a lot of things about sex.. :kink:

Ellen Burstyn

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/sites/default/files/2012/04/ellen_burstyn.jpg

Ellen Burstyn is an American actress! Critics always praise her acting because this woman is always good. Ellen has a great career and she has received multiple nominations and awards for her roles. Her debut film was "Goodbye Charlie" in 1964 but her first succesful role was as Lois Farrow in "The Last Picure Show" (1971). She was nominated for the "Best Supporting Actress" that year. In 1973, she was nominated for the Academy Award for "Best Actress" for her role in "The Exorcist" but she wasn't the big winner that night! However, she won the Academy Award for "Best Actress" the following year for her work in 'Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore". In 1975, Ellen won the Tony Award for her lead performance in the Broadway production of "Same Time, Next Year". She also received a Golden Globe Award and a fourth Academy Award nomination for her performance in the film version of the play (1978). She had two more Academy Award for "Best Actress" nominations for her performances in the films Resurrection (1980) and Requiem for a Dream (2000). Everyone realises that Ellen is a gifted actress. Davidson is her best fan here!

I have watched a few of her movies (I feel embarrased now) but I really want to watch many of her films. I have watched so far : The Exorcist (one of the most scary movies ever!), Requiem for A Dream (great movie, I was shocked about the ending, the soundtrack was great, the performances were groundbreaking), The Yards (not so bad but it's forgettable), Down in the Valley (terrible movie), The Fountain (the vsiual effects were impressive, the music was great and the story was very interesting) and The Wicker Man (the beginning was promising but the end was disaster!).

I would suggest you to watch "The Exorcist" because it defines the horror movies, "Requiem for a Dream" because it's a gripping movie and "The Fountain" because it's a strange and enchating movie.

Stay away from "Down in the Valley". It wasn't bad. It was evil..

Uma Thurman = I really like her, I think she's great and she's better than a lot of the rubbish she's been in, also I call her queen of the comeback's she's done it twice first with "Pulp Fiction", then again with "Kill Bill 1&2", so she's due for another hopefully. I have seen quite a lot of her movies "Kiss Daddy Goodnight" (I bought this a couple of years ago for 50p in a charity shop, it's quite bad and very grainy and hard to follow), "Dangerous Liaisons" (fantastic movie, fantastic performances, and Uma does hold her own in a quite small role, but she was great in it), Robin Hood (very underrated, and she was the much better maid marian than in the Kevin Costner version), "Final Analysis" (fun 90's thriller, so bad it's good), "Even Cpwgirls Get The Blues" (terrible and boring, one of the most stupidest movies ever), "The Truth About Cats & Dogs" (a decent watch, quite entertaining and fun), "Batman And Robin" (the worst in the series, Uma was the only saving grace in it), "The Avengers" (a terrible rip-off of a classic tv series, just awful in every way), "Kill Bill Vol 1" (fantastic, love the story and fight scenes, a welcome return to form for Uma), "Kill Bill Vol 2" (a total letdown, after all that build up, then nothing, but the fight scene with Daryl Hannah was great though), "Be Cool" (not very good and totally forgettable), "Prime" (I actually quite liked, but it fell apart about half way through, but loved Meryl in it though), "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" (very fun and I really liked it), "Percy Jackson" (awful), "Motherhood" and "Accidental Husband" (she deserves better than these). Never seen Jennifer 8, but want to.

Ellen Burstyn = Another wonderful actress who shows no signs of slowing down and at 81 yrs old, she has amassed a fantastic body of work, "The Last Picture Show" (she nailed it and totally stole the show), "The Exorcist" (okay a bit overrated, but still a great spine tingler and classic), "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" (touching, moving and great, well deserved oscar win), "Requiem For A Dream" (very tragic performances, Ellen brought me to tears, her performance was so touching and a very tragic outcome), "Divine Secrets Of The Ya Ya Sisterhood" (a nice touching movie), "The Wicker Man" (stick to the original, Ellen's totally wasted in this mess, just basically another terrible Nicolas Cage movie, but it was unintentionally funny), "Flowers In The Attic" (perfectly cast, plus loved the book and much better than the previous movie from the 80's which was terrible).

Vera Farmiga

http://www2.pictures.zimbio.com/bg/Vera%20Farmiga%20Source%20Code%20Premiere%20J1yT4CF4Djwl.jpg

I really like this woman but I don't know many things about her personal life so her wikipedia page will be my only source. Vera Farmiga is an American actress!! She has six siblings! She is the daughter of Ukrainian immigrants Mykhailo "Michael" Farmiga and Lubomyra "Luba" (née Spas). Vera was raised in a closed Ukrainian-American community, with Ukrainian as her native language. She did not learn English until starting kindergarten when she was six years old. Farmiga attended a Ukrainian Catholic school in Newark (New Jersey) and toured with a Ukrainian folk-dancing ensemble called the "Syzokryli". Vera is also a classically trained pianist and can read sheet music. She converted with her family from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to Pentecostalism. She went on to study Performing Arts at Syracuse University, from which she graduated in 1995! Her debut film was "Return to Paraside" in 1998! It seems that her first movies weren't very successful but she managed to be well-known with her latest movies. She was nominated for the Academy Award for "Best Supporting Actress" with her role in "Up in the Air". PaulM1983 is her best fan here!

I have watched many of her movies so far and I like the majority of them : 15 Minutes (It's not bad, but not good either), The Manchurian Canditate (Quite good remake, interesting plot, good performances), Running Scared (One of my favourite action movies ever!, it has a lot of suspense), The Departed (Quite good but it's overrated, intriguing plot), Nothing But the Truth (Great movie but underrated too), Orphan (very good thriller with unpredictable ending), Up in the Air (Good but it's overrated, I found it a little bit boring too), Source Code (intriguing script, great action movie) and The Conjuring (One of the best horror films ever!!!)

I would suggest you to watch "The Manchurian Canditate" because it's a decent political thriller, "Running Scared" because it's one of her best movies with an amazing script, "The Departed" because Martin Scorsese always make good or great movies,"Nothing But the Truth" because it has an interesting plot with an upredictable ending, "Orphan" because you will enjoy it if you love thriller or horror films, "Source Code" because it's an exciting movie and "The Conjuring" because it's one of the scariest films ever and Vera was very good there!

Sally Field

http://celebnetwealth.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/Sally-Field-Net-Worth-and-Assets.jpg

We have to admit that Sally Field is an adorable woman. Only bitches could hate her and this will not be their place.. :P So, this actress deserves only praise! She is an American actress, singer, producer, director, and screenwriter. Her mother was an actress too (Margaret Field). Her debut film was "The Way West" in 1967. I'm sure that she didn't know that she would have a great career after that movie. She has been known for her leading American TV and film roles in each decade of her career (your faves could neva..). In 1979, critics praised her acting for her leading role in "Norman Rae". She won the "Academy Award" for "Best Actress" the following year. However, it's not her only Academy Award. In 1984, she played in "Places in the Heart". She was the big winner the following year! She was nominated for an Academy Award for "Best Supporitng Actress" as Mary Todd Lincoln in "Lincoln" two years ago! Sally Field has a great filmography and I'm sure that everyone knows her. I enjoyed some of her movies in which she was always good. "Heezus" totally loves this actress!

I have watched a few of her movies but I need to watch "Norman Rae" as soon as possible : Steel Magnolias (emotional movie with brilliant performances / very funny and cynical dialogues), Mrs. Doubtfire (funny movie with adorable characters), Forrest Gump (One of the best movies ever! Great soundtrack, Great Performances, Genius concept!), Say it isn't so (I don't remember her..What a dreadful choice), Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde (very silly dialogues), The Amazing Spider-Man (Enjoyable movie, very good visual effects), Lincoln (I'm a big fan of Steven Spielberg and I admire him as a person but I didn't like this movie. I found it boring and it was hard to watch because there were too many details) and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (One of my favourite blockbusters this year).

I would suggest you to watch "Steel Magnolias" because the story was great with academic performances and the cast was awesome, "Mrs Doubtfire" because Sally had a great chemistry with Robin Williams, "Forrest Gump" because we rarely watch groundbreaking movies and "The Amazing Spider-Man 1/2" because I found them very entertaining movies with amazing visual effects and nice cast.

Sally Field is a favourite! I love her in Norma Rae, Places in the Heart, Mrs. Doubtfire, Forrest Gump and OF COURSE Brothers & Sisters

Jennifer Garner

http://cdn.abclocal.go.com/images/otrc/2010/photos/e05b796431e.jpg

I think that Jennifer Garner is a very attractive woman (I'm sure that Ben agrees with me.. ^_^ ). She is an American actress. She gained recognition and popularity for her performance as CIA officer Sydney Bristow in the thriller drama series "Alias" (I remember it because it was aired in a greek tv channel too). She won a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award for her amazing work there! Her participation in "Alias" helped her to be a famous actress those years (2001-2006). She took part in popular Hollywood movies (Pearl Harbor, Catch Me If You Can, Daredevil) and everybody thought that she would have a great career. However, this never happened and Jennifer ended up to be a good mother and a loyal wife. Jennifer married Ben Affleck in 2005. They have three children. I believe that Ben Affleck made a wise choice. Jennifer Garner is a beautiful woman with nice personality and I would like her to be more active with her work. Two members likes her and they had her name on their lists.

I have watched many of her movies : Dude, Where's My Car? (ridiculous script but it was funny in some parts), Pearl Harbor (I like this film and I don't know why so many critics hate it.. :P), Catch Me If You Can (Great direction, genius character, interesting plot), Daredevil (Nice adaptation), 13 Going on 30 (One of the most suitable movies for the first date), Elektra (it wasn't so good and I felt that it needn't to be a movie), Juno (One of my favourite movies that year, great performances, nice story), Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (Silly movie) and Dallas Buyers Club (Her best movie to date).

I would suggest you to watch "Pearl Harbor" because it has great visual effects, "Catch Me If You Can" because it has a clever script with amazing performances, "Daredevil" if you like alternative superheroes (I meant the least popular superheroes), 13 Going on 30 because it's an entertainig movie and her performance was adorable, "Juno" because the story is full of social messages and the leading character is genius and Dallas Buyers Club because it's one of the best films that I've ever watched at the cinema! The story was great and the performances were groundbreaking!

Since when was Daredevil a popular movie? it was panned. Also, the character himself is not one of the "least popular" superheroes.

Emily Watson: Great actress

Emily Blunt: Love her, she is great in the devil wears Prada and edge of tomorrow

Uma Thurman: she is so amazing. I loved her in Prime. Beatrix Kiddo is one of the bets played roles even in one of my favourite films, I love Kill Bill

I also really like Dakota and Jennifer

Vera Farmiga The only movies I have seen her in are Orphan (which was very good, and had a brilliant twist) and The Conjuring (which again was fantastic), plus she was really good in them, and plus she's brilliant as Norman Bate's mother in Bates Motel TV series, she totally steals the show in that.

Sally Field Another fantastic actress and have seen quite a few of her movies = Smokey And The Bandit 1&2 (both fun, 1st one's the best and plus love Burt Reynolds early stuff, and plus Sally holds her own as well), Norma Rae (yes a great role for her, well and truly shined), Sybil (a TV movie where she plays the title character, very sad and touching, she plays a woman with 16 different personalities, a definate must see, simply heartbreaking), Steel Magnolias (great cast, very heart warming and heart breaking, just fantastic with so many great actress's in one movie and they all get a chance to shine), Mrs Doubtfire (a brilliant comedy, saw this in the cinema when I was a kid and still love it to this day), Forrest Gump (a great and very touching movie, plus Sally was fantastic in it), Eye For An Eye (a decent watch with a brilliant central performance from Sally herself), Homeward Bound (highly enjoyable kids movie), Say It Isn't So (yes quite dreadful and Sally played Heather Graham's mother in it, a bad career choice), Legally Blonde 2 (a stupid and pointless sequel, although enjoyed the first one, but this one was unnessary, The Amazing Spider Man (really enjoyable fun and plus prefer Andrew Garfield's spiderman than Tobey Maguire's to be honest).

Jennifer Garner = I'm sure she's a good actress but to be honest haven't really enjoyed that many of her movies, Alias (never seen, never interested me), Pearl Harbour (just didn't enjoy, all style no substance and plus don't remember Jennifer in it at all), Catch Me If You Can (great movie), Daredevil (terrible just awful, but Jennifer was the only decent thing about it), 13 Going On 30 (quite enjoyable and Jen was great in it, she does comedy really well), Elektra (just terrible, what was the point of this mess), Catch And Release (forgettable and bland), The Kingdom (again bland and forgettable, plus not a fan of Jamie Foxx, highly overrated), Juno (I found it okay, just didn't see what the fuss was about), Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past (again generic crap, a career low for everyone involved), The Invention Of Lying (despite a good premise, it was just totally wasted and fell apart, but loved Jen's performance in it though), Valentine's Day (awful), Arthur (a pointless remake to a classic, just a total waste of money),

Saoirse and Dakota. Constantly slaying

It was the first time that we watched a genius pregnant teenage girl on the big screen..

Saoirse and Dakota. Constantly slaying

I hope they will have a great career in the future. There are many actors/actresses who were famous only as teenagers and nobody remembers them as adults.

Could you tell who is this woman on your avatar..? I'm curious..

Anna Kendrick

http://makeupforlife.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/anna-kendrick-makeup-2014-grammy-award.jpg

I was sure that she was very young..However, Anna is 29 years old.. I always wandered why so many teenagers love her but I just realised it now (checking her photos). She looks so likeable in every photo and she has a beautiful smile. So, it would be diffcult to hate her (apart from b*tches :P ). Anna Kendrick is an American actress and singer. She was born in Portland (Maine). She is of English, Irish, and Scottish descent. She received an Academy Award nomination for "Best Supporting Actress" for her role as Natalie Keener in the "Up in the Air". However, I believe that her participation in "Twilight" helped her to be recognisable to the majority of teens worldwide..I wouldn't say that she is one of the best actresses of her generation but I'm sure that she will do great things in the future. Her next movie will be "Into the Woods" (a musical fantasy film). Cameron is her best fan here!

I have watched some of her movies so far : Twilight (It was the best part of the series, it was also funny in some parts), The Twilight Saga: New Moon (I thought that it would be interesting but it was full of cliches), Up in the Air (An intriguing story about unemployment and massive layoffs but it was a little bit boring and overrated too), The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (Bella started too irritate me..), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (The story and the direction was very unique but it was not a great movie though), The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 (I felt that I was masochist), The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 (The ending was decent) and The Company You Keep (it was decent but it was too ethical too).

I feel that nobody of these movies were her "own" films (apart form "Up in the Air) because she had a minor role to them. However, I would suggest you to watch "Twilight" because it was quite good for a teenage movie and "Up in the Air" because critics praised her for her acting there.

Edited by Insomnio

I watched this movie at the cinema and I remember that there was a buzz about it..If we compared "Daredevil" with "Superman", "Spider-Man", "Batman", "Iron Man", "Captain America" and "Thor" about their popularity, I would say that "Daredevil" belongs to the "least popular" superheroes". That's why his only movie had no impact on the viewers..

The movie got panned by critics and pretty much bombed everywhere wheras the other films you mentioned all were massive box office smashes. No wonder DD seems less

popular to them, but in terms of the comics, he is very much a popular character.

Anna Kendrick = That's a nice surprise to this list and I thought I wasn't that familiar with her work, I mean I knew her face, but didn't know her name, but when I looked her up on Wikipedia it turns out that I have seen quite a few of her movies. "Camp" (remember watching this one on TV a couple of years ago and It was pretty good, a nice enough and quite funny and Anna played the bitchy character in it, and she was really good). "Twilight" (I actually do like these movies, didn't think I would like this, but turned out I did, and it's a really good start), Twilight - New Moon (weren't keen on this one, very boring, definately the worst one out of the lot), Twilight - Eclipse (A mayor step up, one of the best ones, loved the fight scenes, more action, just better through and through), Twilight - Breaking Dawn 1 (Pretty good, but could have been better), Twilight - Breaking Dawn 2 (A great ending, but don't think Anna was in this one much, but she was great in them all, and thought she would have been great as Bella), Scott Pilgrim vs The World (quite enjoyable in parts, but overall quite crap, could have been a hell of a lot better), Pitch Perfect (A great movie, just funny and excellent, Anna really shines in a leading role), and can't wait for part 2.
