Getting a feel for how the album might fair - it's less than a month until release now.

Top 3 with 11-20k.

I'm expecting around 18,000 opening sales which is still a massive increase from 'Living For The Weekend'.

I think it'll be 1/2/3 and I think it might just manage to get above 21k.

Number #2 - The Saturdays - 23,000

Number #1 - Richard & Adam - 25,000

call me optimistic but I really think this could peak at no. 1 with sales of 20k-40k tbh I'm not entirely sure but one thing I am 99% sure of is that this album will sell more than Living For The Weekend/Wordshaker/On Your Radar. If it doesn't reach the top spot I can imagine this charting from 2-6 and hanging around the top 75 for quite a while

I dunno at this stage, maybe top 5 with 12K sales?

I'm hoping they can get this right and make a decent overall seller out of it given the amount of hits on it.

I am literally expecting a repeat of OYR / LFTW and i don't want it to be. I mean really, by now if I was them I'd be promoting the shit out of the album and the lead single by now. I'd be doing a proper radio tour and bribing the dj's to playlist the song.

This could do wonders for their careers if it goes right and put them right back at the top of the girlband pile but sadly I just don't see it happening. - That's me from an objective point of view and not pessimistic or trying to create a downer :kink:

The fan in me screams it's gonna be #1 along with WAYWF but I know I'm gonna et my hopes up to be disappointed and it's so tiresome now!

Basically your opening sentence and closing sentence. The promo needs to be on point and they need to not mime! B-)

I went with top ten, with 11-20k opening week sales.

I think it'd be pretty depressing if it only went top 10 with 12k sales, I'm almost certain it'll do better than that though. The single, however...
#1 with 23k sales. I imagine they've sold a lot with tour tickets and many fans will have bought the multiple versions. Coupled with the usual no one releasing during Summer and sales reaching bottom, in theory this SHOULD be an easy #1 for them. However, this is The Saturdays so anything could happen.

#199 smash incoming with 723 sales I bet :kink:

Oh wait, Rochelle & Frankie did that already :heehee:

I agree, that unless Richard and Adam do sell as well as last year (will they?), that April will be correct here. I'm 97% sure it won't miss the top 5, and am 80% sure it'll manage the top 3.

I think #3, with about 16.5k sold. I don't think it'll reach Gold status overall, but should end up around 80-90k.

As end of year sales or as a total sales overall?

Well, to be honest, I doubt there will be much of a difference between what it sells in 2014 and what it sells in its sales lifetime. If they split (I don't know if they have announced it, but I think this album as good as signposts that) then what is there to encourage new people to buy it? Greatest Hits only tend to sell well after their initial run when either the act keeps releasing new material (like how The Immaculate Collection always used to rebound when Madonna released a new album) or when the act/songs are genuine classics which will be rediscovered down the line by future generations etc. For all the many brilliant pop songs they have made (and there are a lot) they are most certainly not going to go down as pop classics or as a classic act.

(may not be totally what you meant, but I'm in a verbose mood this morning)

I can see it opening with approx. 15000 sales and overall about 70-80k sales. It's summer and sales aren't great and well it is the Saturdays so after release week they'll be gone for another 7 months......
It would be great if they score a #1 album, but honestly it all depends on well "WYWF" does, but guessing a top 3 position with about 30k sales
It really depends how much it's sold with the tour I guess. I think somewhere between 9k and 15k.
