It's also increased from #135 pre-performance to #55 now on Amazon!
The reaction to their live vocals has been worse than the usual reaction to their miming... Which explains why the boost was underwhelming. You'd think since it was pre-recorded a day in advance and filmed twice that they could have tuned it a bit better...?

My biggest hope is for them to get a slot on ITV / ITV2 where they perform their greatest hits. It would have provided the album was such a major boost as well as the songs performed.

I expected the Tumble reaction tbh, I know it wouldn't have that managed that much of a boost as Tumble would have had less than 4 million viewers. I do hope they continue promoting 'Finest Selection' though even if it means randomly performing '808' and 'Walking Through The Desert' etc on TV shows.

Also death to the 'Higher' and 'What About Us' routine.

I don't see there being anymore promo now because the tour starts in 2 weeks and they need to rehearse.

I think they missed a big oppertunity not doing any of their kind of MUZU tv acoustic sessions on national Tv. Going on Weekend (where you can perform twice) and doing Disco Love/Issues would have layed to rest the 'the Saturdays can't sing' and would have provided them with a different kind of promo. It doesn't even take much rehearsal.

Album back  from 62 to 59 btw.

Hopefully the album will be Play store's 99p album one week, and iTunes' advertised 4.99 album another week, to provide FS more weeks in the top 40.

Finest Selection  53

It has actually had a pretty big boost!

I mean it's up over 30 places on iTunes and around 80 odd places on Amazon physicals.

It definitely shows, with a half decent performance these girls can still sell.

Fingers crossed it just holds up most of the week, getting back into the top 20 would be amazing!

It's hard for them because their album needs to be visible to sell, and since it's not advertised on iTunes and is not getting much shelf space in stores. They should reduce to price from 9.99 to 7.99 on amazon.

I read the Twitter response yesterday, before any link was available, and I was expecting the worst performance ever...

I just watched it and it was not bad at all for me... Only Vanessa's mic much louder than the rest, but it was OK. Not off key or terrible as I read... Well, we know how Twitter works. I don't think those people were going to buy the album anyway...

At least it has helped a bit on iTunes and maybe there won't be such a big drop next week.

If the chart deadline was 24 hours later,I'd say it'd definitely be Top 30 this week but it'll probably be around #32 today & hopefully stays in Top 40 next week.
I think next week wi be it's last week in the top 40 unless there is a discount advertised. But I still don't think it'll have a problem outselling Living For The Weekend.
I'm not sure what else they can really do to keep the album selling. Right now it's doing ALOT better than Living For The Weekend in terms of longevity (for a start the current album is still being stocked in supermarkets) but what can they do without a single on radio and no more TV promo? It's too late for signings now. Where the hell is the TV ad??

On their Facebook and Twitter where it will likely stay

How many weeks did Neon Jungle's album last in the top 40?
I think it was two. They aren't even top 300 on iTunes with theirs anymore and I would probably make a joke about that but that's what Living For The Weekend was like so I won't.
