Congratulations on getting promoted. 6-0. Definitely a fine result on getting promoted.

Cheers mate! :D What a fantastic season this has been for us - Steve Cotterill has done a brilliant job!

He really has brought the feel good factor back to Ashton Gate. His success so far is very similar to what Gary Johnson did for us. GJ came to us when we were struggling near the bottom of League 1, he kept us up and ended up finishing in 9th. The following season we finished in 2nd place. Although it looks like SC will go one better by winning the league (hopefully!), and also winning the JPT. I really think we're going places with him in charge.

You could win the title tomorrow providing that you beat Coventry tomorrow or Preston fail to beat Port Vale tonight.

Bit late but oh well!!

championes, championes ole ole ole 😏😀🎵

Quality season for us, the lower league double is officially ours woo ☺️

On a side note, apparently we may be getting fined for the inevitable, although surprisingly minimal, pitch invasion that followed...how stupid, soon modern football wont even allow you to applaud 😔

But anyway, as queen say 'weeee are the champions, my friend' 🎵👌😏

Between Preston and MK Dons for the last promotion spot as we go into the final day.

Any of six teams will take the final three relegation spots with Coventry, Crewe, Notts Country, Crawley, Leyton Orient and Colchester all fighting to stay in the third tier of football.

Crawley and Coventry will play against each other, with Crewe at home to Bradford City. Notts Country away to Gillingham, Leyton Orient away to Swindon Town and Colchester at home to promotion-chasing Preston.

Who do you think will go down?

PFA League One Team of The Year:

Goalkeeper:

Frank Fielding (Bristol City);

Defenders:

Nathan Byrne (Swindon Town),

Tom Clarke (Preston North End),

Aden Flint (Bristol City),

Joe Bryan (Bristol City);

Midfielders:

Dele Alli (MK Dons);

Luke Freeman (Bristol City),

Massimo Luongo (Swindon Town),

Korey Smith (Bristol City);

Forwards:

Joe Garner (Preston North End),

Eoin Doyle (Chesterfield - now Cardiff City).

Joe Garner, what a player!!

Surprised Eoin Doyle went to cardiff, Chesterfield have a chance of being in the championship next yr now! Wonder if Martin O'Neill will call him up, hes 26 thouggh - a late bloomer?

Excellent final day.

Bristol City finish with an 8-2

Colchester beat Preston North End 1-0 to stay in the league and deny Preston automatic promotion, which goes to MK Dons with a 5-1 over Yevoil

Leyton Orient's draw wasn't enough and loses for Crawley and Notts County mean those three join Yeovill in league 2 next season.

MK Dons being promoted won't be popular with the neutral. Would have preferred Preston to be promoted, a traditional club with plenty of goodwill.

AFC Wimbledon's fans won't be happy with the news of the promotion of MK Dons.

Shame about Crawley Town going down after their rise up the leagues and their FA Cup heroics from 2011.

MK Dons are my local club so I'm really excited, already discussing what games to watch next season, so pleased!

Today was just fantastic. This season has been an absolute joy to watch - worthy champions indeed! :yahoo:

Congratulations to MK Dons. They've been absolutely brilliant as well.

Qbsolutely fantastic day, never saw 8-2 coming but what a way to end this fantastic season! Buzzing for next season! 🏆🏆😀

I really really hope jet stays though, the man's like my favourite player ☺️

For some reason MK Dons have always been a team I've rooted for, I think I just loved their logo when they rebranded when I was younger! :kink: So I'm glad to see them promoted and I might finally have a reason to visit stadium:MK next season when Derby go there! I saw MK Dons play when they were at the National Hockey Stadium, but not since then.

Normally, I would have preferred Preston to go up rather than Franchise FC. However, there is a problem. Preston's chairman is Peter Ridsdale. This is the man who bankrupted Leeds United by drawing up a budget that assumed they would qualify for the Champions League every season. He has subsequently taken control of other clubs with a conspicuous lack of success.

Call me old-fashioned, but I remember a time when people didn't end up chairing a series of different clubs :(

Glad to see Crawley Town come back down. Hopefully they can run off back to non-league football! Here's thinking the likes of Fleetwood and Wigan aren't too far behind!

In the play-offs we have:

Chesterfield v Preston

Sheffield United v Swindon Town

Who do people think will prevail in the play-offs?

I want to see Sheffield United in the Championship but I think it'll go like this:

Preston vs Sheff Utd

I suppose Preston do deserve it after the season they've had.

Always hope the 'smaller' clubs go up so want chesterfield. Would hate to see Sheffield United - would eventually end up in the premiership just like Birmingham will - awful clubs. Always up and down.

Dislike Sheffield United with a passion. Preston have a notoriously bad record in the playoffs, that may play on the supporters minds.

Would like Swindon to be promoted, as a local team who have been there or thereabouts in recent years.
