Dislike Sheffield United with a passion. Preston have a notoriously bad record in the playoffs, that may play on the supporters minds.

Would like Swindon to be promoted, as a local team who have been there or thereabouts in recent years.

Indeed. They have been in the play-offs nine times, but have never won promotion through them.

Glad to see Crawley Town come back down. Hopefully they can run off back to non-league football! Here's thinking the likes of Fleetwood and Wigan aren't too far behind!

I spent most of my childhood (i.e., from the age of four) just a few miles from Crawley. However, at the time, they were a very small non-league club, so I didn't consider supporting them. I only knew they existed because we passed their old ground when we went shopping in Crawley. I ended up supporting Brighton instead :D

Tonight we have the first leg of the semi-finals.

How do people see the matches going?

I think:

Chesterfield v Preston 19:45 1-2

Sheffield United v Swindon 19:45 1-1

Chesterfield 0 1 Preston

Sheffield United 2 1 Swindon

I really want Sheffield to be promoted but I'd be pleased with any really, still elated with MK  :cheer:

Results of the first leg of the semi-finals:

Chesterfield 0-1 Preston

Sheff Utd 1-2 Swindon

Still all to play for in the second leg.

That was a rather cheeky late winner from Swindon. :( Hopefully they'll still balls it up somehow on Monday, or even better just lose against Preston at Wembley instead.
The most amazing of matches tonight in the play-off between Swindon & Sheff Utd, 5-5 on the night with Swindon prevailing to the final on a 7-6 aggregate :o

What a thriller that was with Swindon and Sheffield United. The highest scoring game in League play-offs history.

So it's Swindon v Preston in the play-off final.

Who do you want to win out of these two?

Definitely Swindon because it'll be a bit of a fresher face to the Championship but I'd be pleased with Preston too. I predict it will be Preston though,

It would be the first time in 15 years for Swindon that they'd be back playing in the second tier.

Should be an interesting final. An experienced Preston team against a young hungry Swindon team. Could go either way really - I hope Preston smash them though!
Makes me feel old it's the 15 yrs since Swindon were in the second tier - remember them in the premiership!
Hoping for a Swindon win on Sunday.

I think it will be a 1-0 win to them.

I really can't see Swindon keeping a clean sheet, their defence is shite. Although Preston have a mean defence I can see Swindon scoring, but I can see Preston scoring two or three.

How very much was I with the outcome of the match!

Preston beat Swindon 4-0 thanks to a hat-trick from Jermaine Beckford. Fantastic win for them and a nightmare day for Swindon Town.

Who else saw this? Much outrage about the incident in the last few days.

It's awful, but the it was never really the kid's in the first place was it though? It's not like he was physically handed it and then it was taken out of his hands.

Feel sorry for him, but he'll blatantly get something much better now off the club.
