Hey Liam! Chandelier having an immense run here. I actually really like it but on my chart you'd think I didn't :(

 

Only Love Can Hurt Like This is doing amazing here too. It's just such an amazing song. Surely it must be her best selling song now?

Hi James! I know, it's definitely my best chart run, and is just a week away from spending the most amount of time in my Top 10! Ah, I can't remember, but I'm glad you do like it!

 

I love it, really not tiring of it! I think it could be, not too sure what 'New York' and 'Picking Up the Pieces' have sold, although with 'Only Love...' on 300k+ and still being Top 40, it will most definitely become her best seller if it isn't already.

Thank you! Yeah, really liking her album at the moment! I hear 'Burn the Pages' may be the next single which is a very good choice.

01 Can't work out which I prefer out of the two, both are pretty similar but still quite incredible anthems! :wub:

 

07 I took to this record a lot quicker than 'Hideaway', and I've always found that song quite overrated (although it's growing on me again). Happy this is heading to the Top 3. But like you say those "ooh" and "ahhs" are very catchy, as is "wow doo doo doo doo doo dow". :lol:

Hi, thanks for commenting. :D And I did thank you! I went to Weymouth for two weeks, and was blessed with some very lovely weather!

 

01 'Counting Stars' went to #1 too, with a chart run of: 01-02-09-08-11-16-12-21-16-22-23-23-26-34-39-x although on reflection it should have done a lot better as I don't think this quite shows how much I love the track. May re-chart it soon, as I still hear it and enjoy it now.

 

02 It's certainly my most impressive chart run! And I'm glad you're finding the song so good too! The last minute is great, but it's the first chorus that really does it for me! :wub:

 

07 I'm enjoying this a lot more than I ever did 'Hideaway'. Happy that I'm not the only one to enjoy this, a lot think it's a come down.

 

17 Might do. :P I think it's too late to re-peak now, I probably should have charted it earlier.

 

23 It is generic but I do have a soft spot for this type of generic dance music. I'd like to think they could resurrect their career but it doesn't seem like they'll be able to really. :( They need to go back releasing solid pop records like 'Ego', 'Up' and 'Higher'. That's what the public seem to like about them, not their dance records or their more experimental songs.

 

30 I'll be charting it this weekend, just taken a while to get into but it's grown on me after hearing it on radio.

01 Can't work out which I'll end up preferring! They're both so good. :wub:

 

04 In the Top 100 on iTunes due to pre-orders, so a good sign it will be big! Fingers crossed it can be a #1.

 

07 Seems to have Top 5 on lock! Very pleased. :D I guess I may check out her album but I don't think it will be one I'd buy, just like a few tracks.

 

08 I have done, it's quite good, although certainly not as much as 'If I Go' and I don't think it's quite clicked yet. And yes, it would be a shame if she didn't make it. :(

 

09 I've not heard it, any particularly good tracks on there? Yes, they do seem the type to be a one-hit wonder, especially since the album hasn't made much impact.

 

15 'Trouble With My Baby' is the current single, but unfortunately isn't doing anything. In need of a performance to boost it, like what happened with 'Only Love...'. I can sense a re-issue towards Christmas for this album too, with the Sigma collaboration on it (like how 'Never Tear Us Apart' was added to Falll to Grace).

 

26 Agreed. That video is simple yet really fun and was enough to make it really click with me as a single.

 

40 I was never that fussed about it, but then it grew on me really well! I have heard his new single but I can't really remember it, although I liked it I'm sure.

01 Not heard that many OneRepublic songs but it's certainly one of my favourites already. :wub:

 

07 I'm definitely preferring this over 'Hideaway', which I always felt kind of overrated tbh!

23 May re-peak this weekend as I've been listening to their greatest hits a lot and I've been finding this catchy.

 

26 Yeah, I've really been enjoying it! Really liked it when I first heard the album too. I don't think it did too badly chart-wise, and it's definitely a lot more known than its chart run would indicate (I think it's done really well on the airplay charts).

 

33 I can see the similarity now you mention it! Tbh I do think 'Brooklyn Baby' sounds quite like it could fit on the Born to Die album.
